Tito Rising... So I was sitting in a meeting at work, and yes, it was a Haunted Meeting, and I was daydreaming as to what Mr. Tito could write later today. I daydream often, but I also have a skill of functioning physically while my mind is elsewhere. It's probably something of a split personality, but it's the imagination that drives me and has helped me form many of the columns that you see.

In my mind all day long was the break-up of the Awesome Truth - the Miz & R-Truth... I was thinking about writing an editorial-style column that called the WWE out for breaking up what was a successful duo and possibly throwing away money by not keeping them as a duo. I had visions of Miz/R-Truth capturing the WWE Tag Titles and possibly holding onto them for the next year. Miz and Truth could possibly become major Houseshow draws as heel tag champions, as there would exist a possibility that fans would want to see if Miz/Truth would lose the titles.

I was also going to provide a handful of examples of great wrestling teams or groups that broke up too early... In hindsight, I find that Evolution broke up too early, as Randy Orton was rushed to the WWE Title in 2004 and for early 2005, Batista broke off from the group. This was just as John Cena was about to hit the RAW roster and the WWE would have made major bucks with Cena going up against Evolution. Instead, Evolution was fully dissolved before Cena joined RAW.

So yeah, it would have been a good column... But then, as I tuned in to laugh at the 3.2 rating for the Survivor Series "bump" RAW show, I saw the following headline:

SOURCE: WWE.com Official Statement
In accordance with the Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Ron Killings (R-Truth) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s policy.

Oh damn... Congrats to the Wrestling Globe Newsletter for scooping the story, by the way.

What a shame. Reportedly, the WWE does have plans to re-push the Miz for the main event, and based on the way he's GREATLY improved on both the microphone and as an in-ring wrestler, I welcome it. I'm quite fond of his stuff with CM Punk when it happens, and in my opinion, I would seriously pencil in CM Punk vs. the Miz at Wrestlemania 28. Give those guys 20 minutes and a big stage, I guarantee they'll both deliver.

But for R-Truth, this is a major setback. He started off a bit rough as a heel with the Little Jimmy stuff, but once the Miz joined his "conspiracy", you could see that R-Truth was finding inspiration to improve his character while with the Miz. An interesting trend, as 2011 unfolds, is that the Miz is beginning to make other wrestlers look better. Miz's character, in my opinion, is the best that the WWE has to offer in terms of a heel and he doesn't need an expensive car to display how "great" he is.

QUICK ADDITIONAL RAW THOUGHT: I really liked the CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler match from RAW, and I could actually elect that as the "best match of RAW" so far. CM Punk is a good in-ring wrestler, but I don't think that many fans realize how strong of a performer that Ziggler actually is. He reminds me a lot of Barry Windham with the way he flows through his matches and somewhat with the look. And that's a compliment.

Now... From the Survivor Series 2011 event...

Some of you believe that you've read my stuff for so long that you can predict what I might say... To my surprise, many readers were SHOCKED when I didn't hammer the WWE for letting the Rock overshadow John Cena at Survivor Series 2011. But my question is this: why would I?

John Cena is a big boy. He's been the top guy in the WWE since 2005 and remains a strong merchandise mover and a Houseshow draw. If the Madison Square Garden fans want to boo him, Cena should just PROVE THEM WRONG. For instance, John Cena was often criticized for his in-ring ability for much fo 2011, but what did Cena do? He busted his ass during Money in the Bank 2011 to assist with CM Punk in putting together 2011's Match of the Year.

Thus, if the Madison Square Garden and other crowds bash John Cena, all Cena has to do is PROVE THEM WRONG. He's a professional and based on how hard John Cena works, he'll find a way. Cena has earned enough backstage stroke to allow himself the power to suggest a change and in my opinion, he should use it. The happy-go-lucky character of John Cena is stale and it gets exposed when up against arguably the best speaking performer of all time, the Rock.

Why should I waste my time arguing that the Rock ruined John Cena? If we are going to consider John Cena an "equal" to the Rock for Wrestlemania 28, Cena should simply start acting like it. Much of his career, with the success he's had, is controlled by how willing he is to say "yes" to WWE management when his success should earn him the right to control his character, who he wrestles, and his match set-ups. Rock won't look so strong, in comparison, if his "rival" is unable or unwilling to raise his game.

Thus, why should I bother bashing the Rock for looking better than a guy who can't or won't raise his game? That, or John Cena CAN'T raise his game to the equivalent of the Rock. Many of you forget how unique guys like Rock, Steve Austin, or Hulk Hogan actually are, to the point they are taken for granted...

JUST CHILL... TILL THE NEXT EPISODE!
