The RAW Ratings are in and it appears that Mitt Romney just won the New Hampshire Primary. Oh wait, wrong news...

2.9 rating this week against the thumping that Alabama gave LSU with a pretty strong (but down from last year) performance on ESPN. The ratings, I believe, were as high as the 49ers vs. Steelers game that occurred a few weeks ago. The REAL story is the total # of viewers. In sheer volume:

12/26/2011: 4,460,000 (2.9 rating)

1/2/2012: 4,438,000 (3.1 Rating)

1/9/2012: 4,008,000 (2.9 Rating)

THUMP. WWE is losing viewers, bigtime. Granted, football has been there as strong competition, but again, we've had NFL and College football here for years and the WWE drew strong against it. RAW for 2011 averaged a 3.2 rating and that average is top heavy, as the second half of the year was consistently around 3.0.

But we're heading into Royal Rumble, which SHOULD be creating a level of excitement to wrestling fans. It's not right now and I blame the piss poor booking by the WWE Creative Team since the Money in the Bank Pay Per View. The failed "Chief Operating Officer" angle with Triple H, insisting that Alberto Del Rio become WWE Champion when he's not ready, and the careful yet planned sabotage of CM Punk's natural momentum.

The McMahon family acts as though they don't want to be successful as a wrestling company, as if just being successful enough while ramming through their own personal agendas is good enough. It's not for we, the dedicated wrestling fans.

WWE can do better with this incredibly deep talent roster.

I can't WAIT for the quarter hours. It's funny how CM Punk has been depushed down the card as WWE Champion and yet John Cena has been pushed to the main event segments with his Kane feud... SAME RATINGS, imagine that.
