Well... Come all of you big strong wrestling fans, Uncle Vince is at it again. Got himself in a terrible jam, way down yonder in WWE land. Put on your boots and get ready to run, we're gonna have a whole lot of fun... And it's 1, 2, 3, 4, what are we watching for? Don't ask me, I don't give a damn, Vince and Triple H are in trouble in WWE Land. And it's 5, 6, 7, open up the competitive gates. Well it ain't no time to wonder why, whoopie, pro wresting is going to die!

Yes, I'm poorly quoting musical artist "Country" Joe McDonald and his famous "I Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die" song during the Vietnam Era. But it's true... Unless one of the remaining companies gets lucky and finds the next big star in the lineage of Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, Rock, Austin, and John Cena, pro wrestling as we know it is OVER in about 10 years as I predicted in another column (2012, I believe). WWE Creative Team is a freakin' joke... They have pushed Roman Reigns WAY TOO EARLY and failed to realize that Daniel Bryan is still their most over babyface outside of John Cena. However, WWE stuck to its guns and booked Roman to win the Royal Rumble 2015 Battle Royal match to become the #1 contender to the WWE Title. I guess those #CancelWWENetwork hashtags really stung.

But the sad thing is that if you really dislike what the WWE is giving you, what on earth are your options?

- TNA Wrestling - Yeah, if you can find it on the obscure Discovery Channel network that it's on. Good luck with that. And there's a reason why TNA lost their Spike TV contract. Poorly run promotion despite many wrestlers there busting their ass.

- Ring of Honor - I was wrong on this call. I thought that the Sinclair acquisition of Ring of Honor would matter. I'm not seeing the national coverage for this promotion that I thought would occur. My Ring of Honor comes on about 1am on Sundays. Seriously.

- Global Force Wrestling - You guys realize that the Godfather of TNA Wrestling, Jeff Jarrett, is starting this company up, right? Yeah, good luck with that one even if this promotion attempts to mooch off of Mexico or Japan.

- Lucha Underground - I've tried to watch this. After a few shows, it becomes repetitive. Spot after spot after spot hit with zero psychology. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but I can't watch it every week. Worse yet, I can only get it in Spanish on my Comcast. Nothing against that language, but I don't know it... Therefore, there is a big disconnect with me as a fan and to this show.

- New Japan Pro Wrestling - The obscure cable channel they are on is not on my Comcast selection, therefore I cannot get it. I know, they have a WWE Network like subscription service, but after I pay the damn Comcast bill and Netflix, it starts to add up. Why can't you come to me on Comcast? New Japan with an English commentary team would fit perfectly on Spike TV as TNA's replacement.

And we also have the alternative in Mixed Martial Arts. I'm sorry, but I have no idea when Ultimate Fighting Championship events are held. And I watch FOX, Fox News, FX, and FXX often and I never see UFC advertisements. I don't see them getting coverage on ESPN or NBC Sports. If you're going to call yourself a legitimate sports league, you have to seek coverage. Only way I ever know that a UFC event is through Twitter on event nights. Otherwise, I have no idea when MMA stuff is on... Worse yet, UFC pushes the UFC brand HARD and refuses to market their fighters as stars. I seriously couldn't tell you more than 5 fighters in their promotion right now. That's a poorly marketed promotion right there.

Many fans like me, grandpas in their 30's, don't have time to search or dig for things. You'll sell me that clips of shows are on YouTube or Daily Motion and when I go there, the video is grainy. And I don't know what is going on with Daily Motion, but the ads there seem to want to give my computers AIDS or something. Good, successful promotions should come to me without any effort. WWE is accessible to me and I always know their presence because their promotional machine is in full gear, always. I could go months without watching a WWE show but through advertisements and other promotional materials across all media types, I could tell anyone what was happening in the WWE. As many want to criticize Vince McMahon for being "senile", you cannot deny how intelligent he is as a business man. He has truly modernized his hype machine across all forms of media and you cannot avoid it.

And that's why myself as a pro wrestling fan, at least for time being, will live and die with the WWE. Until those other promotions make it (a) more convenient for me to watch and (b) without much added cost to what I'm already paying for (Comcast), I'm not wasting my valuable time and money on them. Come to me, not the other way around.

Which brings me to NXT.... As far as I've read and heard, it appears that NXT is an actual wrestling promotion. Triple H has entrusted the former wrestler trainers down there to book simple shows that focus on the in-ring product. As both Vince and Triple H have said repeatedly now, NXT exists to cater to "hardcore wrestling fans". Their past to special Pay Per View like events have received rave reviews. But will that entice Mr. Tito to FINALLY lay down $9.99 per month to watch NXT? NO! Why? Because by paying WWE $9.99 per month, I'm enabling them to put on a BAD main WWE product. I'm sick and disgusted as to what I see on Monday Night RAW each and every week. Did you watch that garbage on tonight with Miz and Sandow? It was awful... And that's in addition to the piss poor Main Event booking going on right now with Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns.

WWE and its "intelligent" management team (Vince McMahon, Triple H, Kevin Dunn) bought stock WAY TOO EARLY on Roman Reigns. As I noted already in another column, the WWE was trying to push Reigns during 2014 by giving him 2 WWE Title shots on Pay Per Views and was about to sacrifice Seth Rollins following SummerSlam but Reigns became injured with a hernia. Just a month after he returns from injury, MEGA PUSH continues as he wins the 2015 Royal Rumble match for the #1 contendership of the WWE Title at Wrestlemania 31. Combine the loud boos and the poor reviews of Roman's performance responding to Brock Lesnar on the famous "Snowed In" RAW, the grand WWE management appears to be questioning their Reigns MEGA PUSH decision. Even worse for the WWE, Daniel Bryan is still over... Those LOUD "YES!" chants are hard to deny.

So what does WWE do for the past 2 weeks? Set the stage to sabotage or bury the Daniel Bryan character as a babyface.

Just watch what the WWE did during tonight's Monday Night RAW match between Kane vs. Roman Reigns. They had Bryan run his mouth on the mic and do "YES!" chants with the fans during Roman's match. Repeatedly. Then, Bryan refused to get into the ring with Roman after that match, despite Roman's inviting, and kept going with the "YES!" chants. It's apparent to me that the WWE is simultaneously trying 2 things at once to sabotage Daniel Bryan:

(1) Over expose the "YES!" chants. Bryan will do it everywhere between Fastlane and Wrestlemania if Wrestlemania 31 truly becomes Bryan vs. Reigns vs. Lesnar(c) in a Triple Threat match. You'll see "YES!" shoved down your throats and it will fatigue fans.

(2) Daniel Bryan becomes a heel. He's flirting with it by talking more trash than ever and tonight, he avoided any physical altercation with Reigns.

It is happening, folks... Vince McMahon, in particular, does NOT want a consecutive Wrestlemania ending with Daniel Bryan celebrating as WWE Champion. I very much believe that if Vince McMahon had 2014 to do again, he would have stuck with is Batista WWE Title plan to milk the Guardians of the Galaxy movie hype. In the end, especially as Batista got in better shape by those Evolution vs. Shield matches, Vince would have been right to push Batista upon his return during 2014. Granted, we've never seen the WWE actually back Daniel Bryan as a strong, consistent character. Their booking for him has always been reactionary and nothing proactive. WWE is a hot booking mess right now and WWE Management (Vince, HHH, Dunn) continues to prove that they struggle to assess talent through 2015. It's a difficult job which makes you appreciate how awesome Jim Ross was in his role of VP of Talent Relations.

When WWE wanted Alberto Del Rio and the new "COO" position of Triple H during 2011 to both get over, they cooled down CM Punk who was red hot through SummerSlam 2011. When Daniel Bryan became red hot during 2013-2014, the WWE threw Randy Orton and the Wyatt Family at him and Bryan racked up losses... Then, Batista took his deserved 2014 push. Then, when Dean Ambrose was getting over as a singles babyface wrestler, he started losing repeatedly. Seriously, Ambrose is Bray Wyatt's bitch. WWE has a strong track record of "cooling down" wrestlers whom the fans like in order to push wrestlers that WWE Management (Vince, HHH, Dunn) likes. There's a major disconnect between tastes/preferences of WWE management and its fanbase. CM Punk, in particular, could have been a HUGE star if the WWE didn't actively destroy him during 2011 and never let him beat any wrestler outside of John Cena.

Daniel Bryan is getting "cooled down" by either over-exposing his current babyface antics or he'll become a heel. The goal for WWE Management (Vince, HHH, Dunn) is to make Roman Reigns become a big star during 2015 even if that means having Reigns trample on not just Daniel Bryan, but the unstoppable Brock Lesnar as well.

I'm going to "wait and see" what happens at Wrestlemania 31 and go from there... I'm not ready for the Roman Empire.

In the meantime... Competition, please reach out to me. I want an alternative but I don't want to go to 10 different websites or pay additional fees, on top of the hefty Comcast bill that I already pay. Do you hear me? I'm begging you to become a fan of your promotion. Reach out to me... That includes MMA promotions, too... I'm about ready to leave the WWE... Catch me.

SO JUST CHILL... 'TIL THE NEXT EPISODE!
