Here we are with the "GO HOME" edition of Monday Night RAW before the Hell in a Cell Pay Per View. I always enjoy how other columnists or other members of the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) get upset about the show before the Pay Per View. They are seriously expecting 4-5 star matches at a time when the WWE is take it easy to avoid injury. Don't you want the WWE performers to be top notch at the Pay Per View? I would...

When you write on these shows for 15 years now (coming up here on October 26th), you tend to understand the show before the Pay Per View.

While the long standing feud has been Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton, more interest seems to be surrounding the John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio match. For me, personally, Cena's return should be reserved for a bigger event. He's returning for Hell in a Cell 2013, but I believe they had real potential by having John Cena return at Survivor Series 2013 instead. Could you imagine a 5 on 5 Survivor Series match like Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, the Shield versus Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, maybe CM Punk, and a returning John Cena? But instead, John Cena's return is a random Vickie Guerrero announcement. That's bad.

But I'm happy John Cena is back. He's a talented performer and has certainly held his own in recent Match of the Year candidates against CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, and Daniel Bryan. Anyone who denies Cena's in-ring ability doesn't truly watch or enjoy wrestling. John Cena's character is just overbooked and the WWE protects his Win/Loss record too much. Eventually, wrestling fans get bored with wrestlers portrayed as "immortal".

To me with Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton, the WWE has to pull the trigger on the Daniel Bryan push. It's been about 2 months of monkeying around since SummerSlam 2013 and Bryan has been booked only briefly to get the best of Randy Orton or Triple H. Until Triple H took a punch from Big Show and then followed up by failing to help the Shield retain their World Tag Titles against Goldust/Cody Rhodes, I wasn't convinced that Triple H could show vulnerability. Orton and Triple H have dominated Daniel Bryan while attempting to intimidate the entire remainder of the roster without much consequence. That's now how wrestling or heels in the business works. Heels have to run with their lives in fear from a top babyface wrestler. Orton and Triple H do not and are booked strong to remain that way. Bryan has to overcome them at Hell in a Cell.

Then, if the WWE management wants to still get the WWE Title on Orton's waist by Wrestlemania 30, there is plenty of time...

OUCH @ Triple H in "dick mode" tonight. He ripped Daniel Bryan HARD by comparing him to guys like Chris Jericho/Rob Van Dam who didn't have it as stars and if they were on top during the late 1990's, "Ted Turner would be in charge". Hilarious. Triple H acts as though he's in Steve Austin or Rock class, but he's a notch below. While Triple H's performance in 2000 was commendable, Rock and Austin set the table for Triple H to succeed and it was guys like Chris Jericho on the roster who joined the WWE in 2000 to make that year special (along with Kurt Angle, Rikishi, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Tazz, etc.). And Triple H benefitted huge from the Stephanie wedding angle and wrestling great opponent after great opponent (like Chris Jericho - twice in 2000).

At this rate of burying your own employees, Triple H will ultimately FAIL as Vince McMahon's successor at running the WWE Corporation.

TITO'S HELL IN A CELL PREDICTIONS

In WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN and WHAT WILL HAPPEN format.

Expected to be added: Goldust/Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Shield vs. Usos
They had a #1 contender's match on RAW between the Usos and the Shield even though the Usos won a title shot and I'm guessing Shield has some sort of rematch clause. But here they are, still wrestling a match for the #1 contendership. The match went no contest after brawling everywhere occurred, so I thus expect a 3 Way Tag match will occur.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Put over the Usos by having them win cleanly in this match. They need the boost.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Goldust/Rhodes get a big win. I think the WWE is ready to try out Reigns and Rollins as singles wrestlers soon.

AJ LEE (c) vs. BRIE BELLA for the Divas Title
Reportedly, WWE officials were worried about Brie Bella's reaction. DUH!!! You push her as a heel for much of the last year and just flip her to face because of who is banging her? And the Bellas are natural heels while AJ Lee could be better as a babyface. Why they have Stephanie backing AJ Lee and dissing the Bellas is beyond me. Brie's lack of reaction as a babyface tells me she's going to lose...

WHO SHOULD WIN / WHO WILL WIN: AJ Lee, all the way. I think the WWE will keep AJ Lee with Stephanie for the moment but Stephanie will soon turn. I seriously believe that Stephanie vs. AJ Lee at Wrestlemania 30 is so happening. Stephanie, to this day, is proud of her match against Trish Stratus and adores AJ Lee (as you can see from very favorable storylines attempting to push AJ hard).

CM PUNK vs. RYBACK/PAUL HEYMAN - HANDICAP MATCH
Ryback needs this win BADLY or else he's just a Heyman flunky. Curtis Axel isn't convincingly winning matches, and thus he's not that strong with Heyman as his manager. Ryback runs the risk of having that similar fate. CM Punk needs to be sent home and rest. He's banged up, no thanks to Ryback. I actually believe that Punk retires after his WWE contract expires around June 2014 due to these injuries piling up. And he's Straight Edge, remember, so thus no pain killers, alcohol, or any kind of drugs to ease the pain. Ryback needs legitimized and badly. If Ryback just takes control of the match and dominates Punk for a clean 1, 2, 3, that could get fans talking. And I also think the WWE is legitimately thinking about Ryback vs. Bill Goldberg at Wrestlemania 30.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: CM Punk defeats Ryback and moves on to challenge for the WWE Title against Orton.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Someone else is getting involved and going after Punk. Either a new "Paul Heyman Guy" is born (Big E Langston?) or an existing one (Brock Lesnar) attacks. I'll go with Ryback as the winner due to this interference and maybe an injury angle with Punk happens (let the guy get some rest, WWE!).

RANDY ORTON vs. DANIEL BRYAN - Hell in a Cell with Shawn Michaels as Special Guest Referee - Vacant WWE TITLE
And here we are again with another "Special Guest Referee". Daniel Bryan, who IS over whether WWE management wants to admit it or not about a 5'10" guy (billed, maybe he's shorter?), just can't get a fair shake by the WWE Creative Team. Randy Orton has had multiple chances to be THE GUY as World Champion (10 times to be exact), but he's not growing the business on his own without John Cena. But yet, pushing Randy Orton hard again is worth derailing a smaller guy who is actually over with fans. It feels like 2011 again, doesn't it with CM Punk being over and WWE management was slobbering all over Alberto Del Rio. WWE is playing up the fact that Daniel Bryan was at Shawn's school. I sense a swerve.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: 100% clean win for Daniel Bryan and convincing. It's time to knock Orton down a peg.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Probably Shawn Michaels accidentally hitting Daniel Bryan when trying to deliver Sweet Chin Music to Randy Orton. Therefore, I'm predicting Randy Orton to win. Thinking of this finish, it would be an incredible dream match to see Shawn Michaels and Daniel Bryan square off... Wrestlemania 30? We could get Big Show turning heel and helping Orton, somehow, win.

ALBERTO DEL RIO (c) vs. JOHN CENA for the World Heavyweight Championship
Just by adding John Cena, this is the most interesting match of the show. If it helps boost this show by 30,000 buys, then the early comeback is worth it... Otherwise, if John Cena truly did have a tricep injury, the WWE is putting John Cena in harm's way. I don't know what the WWE is really doing behind the scenes with this injury and seeing Cena lift weights as he has, I'm just not sure the injury was as bad as thought. But who knows... He could be drinking Khan's blood from Star Trek Into Darkness or have powers like the indestructable cheerleader in the NBC show Heroes.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Alberto Del Rio slaps on the arm bar and destroys John Cena's arm, 100% clean submission. John Cena goes home, gets some rest, and returns to challenge Del Rio at Wrestlemania 30.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: John Cena wins the World Heavyweight Championship. He wouldn't be coming back so early if he wasn't winning it. 2014 could be the year of the World Title merger between John Cena as World Heavyweight Champion and Randy Orton as WWE Champion.
