WWE Superstars Results 4/7/11

We start off this week’s show with the Smackdown brand and your announcers are Jack Korpela and Matt Striker.

Match Number One: Drew McIntyre versus JTG


They lock up and JTG sends Drew into the corner and the referee has to separate them. Drew tries to kick JTG but JTG blocks it. Drew with a slap and then he sends JTG into the turnbuckles. Drew with kicks until the referee warns him. JTG and Drew exchange punches until JTG takes control and then he knees Drew. Drew with a cheap shot and JTG goes down.

Drew with an inverted suplex onto the top rope and JTG is still hanging on the rope. Drew pulls JTG back to the mat. Drew punches JTG in the back and then he kicks him. Drew with a boot to the head and then he has something to say to JTG before putting him in an arm bar while he adds a chin lock.

Drew uses JTG’s arm for extra pressure. JTG gets to his feet and he runs Drew into the corner. JTG with a back body drop when Drew charges at him. Drew charges at JTG again and JTG gets a boot up and then he goes for a rollup and gets a near fall. JTG with a crucifix for a near fall. JTG punches Drew and then he hits a DDT but Drew gets his foot on the rope to stop the count.

JTG waits for Drew to get up and then he hits a running back elbow and then he leaps into the corner. Drew pushes him off and Drew hits a big boot to the head. Drew picks up JTG for the Future Shock and he hits it for the three count.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

It is time to take a look back at the 2011 Hall of Fame Ceremony.

We are back and for the final time, we switch over to the Raw portion of the show and your announcers are Scott Stanford and Josh Mathews.

Match Number Two: Yoshi Tatsu versus Tyson Kidd in the Penultimate Match of Superstars


They lock up and Yoshi works on the arm and Kidd with a leg take down and he works on the arm. Kidd wrings the arm and then he applies an arm bar and stomps on the arm. Kidd works on the arm and Tyson taunts Yoshi. Yoshi uses the ropes and then he takes Kidd down with an arm drag. Kidd tries for a rollup but Yoshi holds on to the ropes. Kidd with a kip up but Kidd and Yoshi exchange kicks. Yoshi comes off the turnbuckles and hits an arm drag into a cover for a near fall. Yoshi with a Japanese arm drag followed by a regular arm drag and he applies an arm bar.

Kidd with a punch and then he kicks Yoshi and goes to the apron. Yoshi with a drop kick that sends Kidd to the floor and we go to commercial.

We are back and Kidd with a cravate while we see footage during the commercial when Kidd hot shot Yoshi onto the apron. Kidd with knees to Yoshi but Yoshi with a crucifix for a near fall. Kidd with a clothesline and kick followed by an elbow to the nose. Kidd with a drop kick to the back of the head. Kidd with a near fall and then he returns to the cravate. Yoshi with an arm drag but Kidd with a back heel kick. Yoshi with a spinning heel kick and both men are down.

Yoshi with chops to Kidd followed by kicks to Kidd and Kidd goes to his knees. Yoshi with a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Yoshi goes to the apron and up top but he takes a little too long and Kidd recovers and he crotches Yoshi.

Kidd hits a Frankensteiner but Yoshi kicks out at two. Kidd tries for the Sharpshooter but Yoshi is able to push Kidd off and Kidd goes to the apron. Kidd goes for a springboard move but Yoshi moves and he hits a round kick for the three count.

Winner: Yoshi Tatsu

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to take a look at the confrontation between John Cena and The Rock from Raw when we found out what will be happening on April Fool’s Day in 2012 in the city of Miami Gardens.

Match Number Three: Santino Marella versus Ted DiBiase in the Turn out the Lights . . . this party is finally over Match


Santino does some karate positions before they lock up. Santino works on the arm and then puts Ted in a waist lock. Ted with a standing switch. Santino with a standing switch of his own and he takes Ted to the mat. Ted tries to escape but Santino with a hammer lock. Ted gets to his feet and Santino puts him in a side head lock. Ted pushes Santino away.

Santino offers his hand and Ted thinks about it and he tells Santino he does not shake hands. Santino tells Ted that this is supposed to be an exhibition. Ted with a front face lock but Santino with a front face lock of his own. Ted grabs the leg and Santino gets away.

Ted offers his hand and Santino shakes it but Ted slaps Santino and we go to commercial as Santino is kicked to the floor.

We are back and Ted has Santino in a side head lock. We see footage from the commercial break when Ted slammed Santino and then mocked the cobra. Back to the action in the ring, Ted applies extra pressure while he has Santino on the mat. Santino gets to his feet and he gets out of the hold with an arm drag. Ted with a drop kick for a near fall.

Ted punches Santino and Santino punches back. Ted with the rebound clothesline for a near fall. Ted chokes Santino in the ropes. Santino tries for a sunset flip but Ted will not go over and he connects with a series of knee drops and he gets a near fall.

Ted with a reverse chin lock and Santino gets to his feet and he hits a jawbreaker. Ted blocks a boot from Santino and then he punches and kicks Santino in the corner. Ted with more punches to Santino but he misses a splash into the corner.

Santino blocks a punch and he responds with punches of his own. Santino with a split and hip toss. Santino with the diving head butt but he hits Ted’s boot. Ted gets up first and tries for Dream Street. Santino backs Ted into the turnbuckles and then arm drags Ted. Santino winds up the cobra and he hits Ted with it and gets the three count.

Winner: Santino Marella
