Around 15,000 attendance, not many spare seats
1. Santino Marella beat Drew McIntyre via pin
Decent opener, Santino very over and lots of heat for Drew. Santino wins with the cobra.
2. Alex Riley and Primo beat Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga via pin
Average match, Primo is beaten down, Riley gets a hot tag and scores the win for his team by pinning Otunga after the a bomb.
3. Mason Ryan beat Curt Hawkins via pin
Waste of time, neither man over and a total squash. Ryan wins after applying a full nelson and turning into the patriots finisher the uncle slam. Side note, Curt Hawkins has a delightful new cane, maybe a gift from Mr Fuji? The cane was more over than these two. Lots of Batista chants at Ryan.
4. US Title Match - Dolph Ziggler beat John Morrison via pin
Match of the night, lots of heat for dolph for saying england sucks... a ppv quality match with lots of near falls and kick outs of finishers. After Morrison kicked out of the zig zag ppl thought Morrison would win. Finish was Morrison goes for starship pain, but gets crotched on the top rope, as he bounces into the ring Dolph hits a super kick for the win. After the match Dolph goes back to the ring and tries to hit Morrison with the title but misses and takes a starship pain.
Bella twins dance contest
Boring. 4 kids try to dance. 3 were booed (a boy and 2 girls) and the 4th person - a 5 year old boy in Cena merch - would have been booed too but he won all the men in the crowd over by grabbing both Bella twins and dancing with them. Genius. Therefore he won.
5. Divas Title Match - Beth Phoenix beat Eve Torres via pin
Not a bad match, samey divas match without many missed spots. Beth wins with a glam slam. After the match Beth goes to attack Eve but Kelly Kelly comes out for the save to a decent pop.
6. John Cena, Zach Ryder and Kofi Kingston beat The Miz, R Truth and Kevin Nash via pin
Awesome truth get lots of heat pre match. Cena got more cheers than boos. Massive reaction. Ryder and Kofi got goo pops too. Nash did little (why break the habit of a lifetime) taking 3 bumps in the match. Cena pinned The Miz after the attitude adjustment. Decent match.
7. WWE Title Match - CM Punk beat Alberto Del Rio via DQ
Big pop for Punk. Average match as it was ruined by 10 minutes of Del Rio stalling, including walking round the crowd. Punk had the win after a GTS but the ref got bumped so nobody to count... He hit it a second time but ricardo broke up the pin for the DQ finish. Punk hulked up at one point on ricardo, pointed the finger and pulled his trousers down. Funny stuff. Some good spots, had the stalling not taken place it would have been better. Their match at survivor series should be good.
After the match Miz, R truth, Dolph and a masked guy ran in and attacked punk, but Cena, Kofi, Ryder and Eve made the save... Punk got the mic and said it's Dolphs birthday and he could basically pick a Finisher to take... Everyone hits a finish and it's game over.
