Jared Z. sent in the following report:
Bri Bella ding the ring announcing. My lord does she SUCK at it.
A-Ry v. Rybek (or Ryback)
Squash match against A-Ry, won by a small package.
Winner: A-Ry
Kelly Kelly & Eve v. Beth Phoenix & Natalya
Kelly Kelly is certainly the least talented "wrestler" of the 4. Beth Phoenix is also much bigger looking live. Good match for Eve though, she looked good.
Winners: Kelly Kelly & Eve
United States Champion Jack Swagger issues an open challenge
R-Truth v. Jack Swagger
Great match from both guys here. Lots of back and forth action. A lot of near falls to really get the crowd into it. "Little Jimmy" chants broke out in the whole arena. After a great match, R-Truth pinned Swagger for the win.
Winner and NEW United States Champion: R-Truth
After the match, David Otunga came out and told Truth that it was a NON-title match. After the tag-title exchange in Oakland last weekend, the crowd was pissed there wasn't a title change here. They let Otunga know.
Cody Rhodes issues an open challenge since Ted Dibiase has a broken hand.
Cody Rhodes v. A-Ry (NON-title, but if A-Ry wins he gets a title shot next week on SmackDown!)
Pretty cool to see A-Ry pull double duty. Cody Rhodes definitely backs up his claim to be the best IC Champ. The matches he puts on are great and this was no exception.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Tag Team Championship: Primo/Epico v. Kofi Kingston and Mason Ryan
This was a circus match. Once Mason Ryan came in Primo and Epico just exchanged tags because neither wanted to fight Ryan. The crowd found this to be a good time to use the bathroom. I don't blame them.
Winners: Primo/Epico
Wade Barret v. Sheamus
Winner: Sheamus
World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan v. Big Show
I was disappointed with this match. All Bryan did was duck out of the ring and walk around pointing at his head ala Jeff Jerrett, and when he got back in Big Show would just headbutt the crap out of him. Big show went for a big splash but missed, a few chokeslams that got countered and it ended with Barret and Otunga interfering. Dumb.
Winner by DQ: Big Show
Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship: CM Punk v. The Miz
The pop for CM Punk was crazy loud. The whole match there were CM Punk chants. Lots of close calls with both going out of the cage, near falls or over the top of the cage. Good suplexes off the top and some really clever springboards of Punk onto the cage, but he grabs on and tries to escape. The ending was a great combo of GTS/reversal/SCF/reversal/GTS for the win.
Winner: CM Punk
After the show CM Punk posed with fans at ringside and all down the aisle. He seems like he knows who pays his bills. I also had the chance to meet R-Truth out where they were loading stuff up. He came up to a group of us and signed some stuff. I didn't have anything for him to sign so I just shook his hand and told him he was great. He seemed to really appreciate that. Hopefully they come back to Fargo soon.
