I just came back from the DX Invasion Tour in the The Point in Dublin Ireland. I thought it was a pretty entertaining show with some good matches.
First Jack Swagger last eliminated Mark Henry in a battle royal to earn a WWE Championship Match against John Cena at the end of the night. The crowd was really behind MVP. Kofi and Orton both got knocked out together and started fighting. Other participants were Legacy, Primo, Chavo, Evan Bourne, Chris Masters, and Sheamus.
Next was a comedy Chavo vs Hornswoggle match. Crowd was really behind Hornswoggle since he is Irish. Justin Robert said that Vince McMahon said that Chavo has to go on his knees for this match. Hornswoggle got the pin with a Tadpole Splash.
Gail Kim moved four fans at the very back of the arena to ringside after answering a question. The Question was to name either member of DX's finisher, one of the kids said Sweet Chin Music and got it right. They were the only guys at the back so i think they were plants.
Next Sheamus came out to a good responce but then claimed that The irish fans never thought he would make it that far which got a lot of heat. Sheamus beat Evan Bourne, good response for Bourne but still fans were behind Sheamus.
Justin Roberts announced a United States Champion. Miz came out and called the fans idiots for cheering guys like MVP. He then told them to go ahead and the fans chanted MVP. He then calls himself the most charasmatic superstar in WWE and calls himslef AWESOME!! MVP comes out and gets a great responce. Miz beats him though after his finisher to retain the title.
Jillian Hall is announced as the special ring announcer for the next match. She comes out and says she didnt come to Ireland just to announce a match, she wants to sing. She says she is singing a song from one of Ireland's favourites, Sinead O' Conner. She must have been drinking. The fans booed her. She announced the Divas Title match and said that Melina would lose. Melina beat Alicia Fox. Great responce for Melina.
Up Next Mark Henry beats Chris Masters. Not a great match, fans were behind Henry. Henry won with the World's Strongest Slam.
Intermission
After Intermission Randy Orton beats Kofi Kingston after the RKO. More Orton fans then Kofi fans. Young fans were even chanting RKO.
Up Next Justin Roberts announces a Tag Team Match. The entire crowd screams. The Lights go out and DX music plays. HBK and HHH come out and throw glowsticks to the fans(I didn't get one).They said they love Ireland.They ask the thousands in attenendance and well nobody at home if they are ready.HHH then says he will do what he can to have a TV Taping in Ireland. Their oppeonents were Legacy. DX pulled down Rhodes and DiBiase's shorts during the match. DX win after a double pin after a Sweet Chin Music and a Pedigree. Great responce for DX.They are very popular in Ireland.
Justin Roberts says it is time for the main event and thanks the fans in Dublin. Swagger comes out first and gets booed. Cena is out next and gets some booes but mostly cheers from the kids. Loads of "Lets Go Cena,Lets go Swagger" Chants during the match. I was chanting Lets go Swagger.Cena beat Swagger after an Attitude Adjustment. Cena poses for the fans to close the show.
Overall it was a great show. It was very entertaining. Just came back now and I am very hungry. Can't wait for WWE to come back in April for the WrestleMania Revenge Tour.
