The ECW intro hits and Christian vs. William Regal is plugged
Tony Atlas introduces Santino who will be replacing Abraham Washington who is apparently Ill. After teaching Tony some Italian, He brings out his guest Vlaider Kozlov. Santino says he picked Kozlov as all the other foreigners busy and he wanted someone that the fans didn’t know- so they would cheer Santino more.
After a few more jokes I don’t understand due to their accents, Santino asks Kozlov to quote some movie lines before asking Kozlov want he likes about America. Kozlov likes Curley fries, Hannah Montana and wall mark. Santino tells Kozlov they should become a tag team and the crowd seems to disagree.. The crowd is booing as this segment ends
In the back, we see Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu heading to the ring for a match with Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta

Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu vs. Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta
Goldust starts this out Croft with Dust getting the upper hand until Croft tags in Barreta only to get backtracked by a double team. Barreta roles to the outside with Yoshi in toe which leads to Croft and Barreta getting the upper hand by tripping Yoshi on the apron.
Barreta covers Yoshi before going back fir a reverse chin lock as the WWE Universe get behind Yoshi who is whipped into the corner and meet with a drop kick following a tag. Croft has the front headlock before retagging in his partner Barreta as Yoshi attempts to get to Goldust and hit’s a spinning heel kick which leads to both teams making a tag
Goldust starts at a fast pace and power slams Croft which leads to Barreta breaking up the pin full attempt and a 4 man brawl looks on the cards before Barreta low bridges an on rushing Yoshi to the outside. Goldust goes for a school boy but is clotheslined by Barreta allowing Croft to get the win
Winner: Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta
In the back we see Rosa Mendes heading to the ring for a “Major Announcement”

“Oh Radio tell me everything you know” hits my tv screen and we are joined by Rosa Mendes and Zack Ryder for a major announcement
“A couple weeks ago I retired Tommy Dreamer” states Ryder, Ryder tells us that he will now be referred to as “The new Heart and Sole super Hero of ECW,Zack Ryder” and to prove it, he gets the ring announcer to announce it which Rosa doesn’t take too kind to so she starts shouting Spanish at the ring announcer. After a few moments of this, Hurricane runs out and attacks Ryder sending him to the outside.

The Royal Rumble card is run down before Vance Archer/Shelton Benjamin program is shown which will carry on this week on Superstars
Christian heads to the ring for his match with William Regal
Christian vs. William Regal
Jackson looks at his Royal Rumble opponent as his partner in crime Regal locks up with Christian and end up breaking clean after ending up in the corner. They go back to the lock up before Regal picks the wrist to take control of Christian. Regal and Christian attempt a test of strength which leads to Regal picking the left arm of Christian and working on the head and neck of the ECW Champion. “Regal Sucks” breaks out from the crowd as Regal Irish whips Christian who slides between the legs of Regal and get the upper hand until Christian and Jackson stare down on the outside as we go to a break.

Our main event is back with Christian in control of Regal until Regal knees Christian in the head and drops him neck first across the ropes. Regal puts Christian into a Full Nelson before kicking out Christian’s leg and choking him in the ropes and going for a pin.
Christian kicks out so Regal goes back to working the neck until Christian attempts to fight back only to walk into a stiff left hand followed by a pin full attempt. The crowd began to cheer as Christian goes for the Killswitch which Regal blocks and uses a T bone suplex. Regal then kicks Christian’s skull into the ring post before working on the neck of the ECW Champion who almost gets a shock win with a small package but Regal kicks out.
Christian hit’s a swinging DDT before going for a drop kick which Regal blocks and goes for Jack-Knife pin and Christian kicks out. Christian goes for Killswitch which Regal blocks so Christian chucks him to the outside only for Jackson to attacks Christian coursing a DQ
Following tonight’s ECW I have mixed feelings about the show which I will get into now
Santino’s segment bombed big time, the crowd didn’t react like they do for Abe cause Abe is meant to be cocky and sarcastic where as Santino is meant to be pure laughter. In my eyes, the segment was bad and I hope we see Abe very soon. As for Kozlov, I have no idea their plans for him, he really has no one to feud with unless he interferes at the title match at the PPV
Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu vs. Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta was a decent match as everyone in the match looked strong and leaves this feud open to carry on. I don’t expect to see Trent and Croft anywhere near the tag titles in the next two years or so but I’m interested to see where this goes.
The Zack Ryder/Hurricane program will be interesting as Ryder’s character is a total 180 of Hurricanes but I believe they will put on a decent match when they finally have a blow off match(possibly a tag match)
Am I the only one tired of seeing Christian/Regal? Yes I know this feud is Christian/Zeke but Regal and Christian seem to be fighting non stop, week in week out since October. Tonight’s match was decent, I liked the ending as neither man looked weak and Im calling Zeke as the winner of the match at the Rumble
