A promo is shown promoting Yoshi Tatsu vs. Christian which is our main event tonight! The ECW entrance hits before we are welcomes by WWE Hall of Fame Tony Atlas. He brings out Abraham Washington and his guest tonight will be ECW GM Tiffany. Abe calls himself the most entering man in sports entertainment today and a pimp. Abe tells us tonight he will stop running his mouth tonight to which Atlas and the crowd laughs.

Tiffany comes out to some new music and sits down whilst Abe tells her she is hot before asking why Tiffany who ECW wasn’t on the Bragging Rights. Tiffany mentions that guys like John Morrison and Kofi Kingston got their start on ECW and promises next year, ECW will have a massive impact. Tiffany tells us that Sheamus asked to leave so she agreed but tonight he will face Shelton Benjamin.

Tiffany then tells us her arm is getting better which brings out Regal whom demands a title shot at the ECW title shot before Tiffany tells him he is not getting a title shot tonight and maybe… never again. Abe starts to rap up the show and this send Regal into a rage destroying the set of the Abraham Washington show.

We then jump to the announce table where Byron Sexton and Josh Matthews promote tonight’s main event before showing a video package of the rise of Yoshi Tatsu.

We are back and so is Sheamus who will be making his final appearance here on ECW before jumping to Raw. For some reason, we jump to the back and see Shelton being interviewed who promised that Sheamus will gain a new found respect for the Gold Standard

Sheamus vs. Shelton Benjamin

They lock in before Shelton drags down Sheamus before Sheamus slides outside then back in the ring as they start trading blows which ends with Shelton clothsling Sheamus to the outside and doing a Star ship pain like move from the apron to the outside as we head to a break

We are back as Shelton drops the arm across the ropes before ramming the arm of Sheamus into the corner and Shelton attempts to do it again but Sheamus blocked it and throws Shelton arm then back first into the ring post before rolling him back into the ring and dropping an elbow before locking in some kind of submission. The crowd starts to cheer as it appears Shelton looks to fight back but is cut off by a massive power slam and being rammed into the corner where Sheamus locks in a chin lock after dragging him into the centre of the ring.

The crowd is once again getting behind Shelton as he attempts to fight back and produce a loud cheer when Benjamin hit’s a massive belly to belly suplex before both wrestlers start trading blows before Shelton hit’s a bring board followed by a stinger splash. Sheamus and Shelton reverse each other finishers before Sheamus drops Shelton across the toprope and hitting a pump kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus

The main event is once again plugged as we head to break

We are back and we see Rosa Mendes talking to Greg Helms before the Burchill’s walk in and tell Helms to tell Hurricane to be in the ring next week to settle their feud before we are shown highlights of Bragging Right’s Brand ware fair

In the back Christian is being interviewed and says Yoshi Tatsu is the future of ECW but not tonight and he will teach Yoshi the most important lesson of anyone’s career: How to deal with defeat

We are back and Christian is heading to the ring to face Yoshi Tatsu for the ECW Title!

Christian © vs. Yoshi Tatsu ECW Title match

This has a big match feeling to it. They circle the ring before shaking hands and locking up in the corner and we get a clean break. They circle the ring again as Yoshi kicks Christian legs before Christian goes behind before Yoshi roles though but Christian locks in a standing headlock as Yoshi reverse into his own headlock. Christian uses the one man flap jack before attempting a stringboard pin which Yoshi kicks out and locks in a head lock after hitting a rolling thunder. The wrestler have a stand off as we head to a break

Christian is in control as he has Yoshi in a headlock before ascending the top rope and being cut off before Yoshi attempts and misses the springboard which allows Christian to hit a springboard of his own and rolling Yoshi back into the ring where he maintains control by hitting a reverse DDT.

Christian goes back to the chin lock before throwing Yoshi into the ropes and attempting a swinging DDT which Yoshi blocks and hit’s a massive spin kick for a 2 count. Yoshi start hitting Christian with kicks before hitting a disco punch which gets a 2 count. Christian attempts his Killswich buts its blocked so he climbs the ropes and attempts a drop kick which Yoshi blocks into pin fill for the 2 count.

Yoshi looks shocked and walks straight into reverse DDT and Yoshi kicks out at 2, The crowd is so hot as Yoshi blocks a Killswitch for the second time but cant stop it for a third time as Christian gets the three count

Winner Christian

After the match, Christian goes to pick up Yoshi but Regal and his round table hit and ring and take out both Yoshi and Christian, ending the show with the belt raised above Regal’s head

Chris Thoughts

I’m back following my illness and I would once again like to thank my friend Dave Stephens for jumping in for me. Now to ECW, In my opinion, tonight’s show was probably the best show they have done this year and I will explain why(if you disagree with me, send me an email)

I like the Abraham Washington show as right now its being used just perfectly as WWE will only put it on ECW to push feuds that they want to be on the front of our mind, I can see people asking me “How can you take this show serious and think it helps push any feud?” My answer is that because the show is stupidly funny which makes it stand out from all the serious segments on the show. I liked Tiffany’s new music as her old one was Torrie Wilson’s old one and as much as I like Torrie, Tiffany needed her own music.

Tiffany once again impressed me with her mic skills as she has come on leaps and bounds since her debut and now is conceded a respectable GM and not some girl they put on TV as she is blonde and pretty. I like the idea that Tiffany is standing up to Regal but I have a bad feeling this could somehow lead to the end of Tiffany as GM which would not be something I would not be happy with

Sheamus jumping to raw is a big risk in my opinion as he could have easily stayed on ECW and became the champ but if WWE feel he is ready, so be it I wish him the best. His match with Shelton was awesome tonight and both guys got a decent rub as Sheamus got the pin over a pretty well known name and Shelton looked as good in the ring as Ive seen him in the WWE

Rosa Mendes looked fine in her backstage segment and with Katie Lea scaring her way I could see Hurricane & Rosa vs. Paul & Katie which will be a pretty decent match as Katie and Rosa can work well and put together could give us a decent match. I’m not sure how long Helms will feud with Burchill and I don’t mind as I’ve enjoyed the feud

Now for the main event, anyone that hasn’t seen ECW I suggest you find someway to watch it as Yoshi and Christian both looked like gold and no one was hurt by the clean pin. This match just showed how well Christian can work and how well Yoshi has improved, just so many near falls, so many times that I believed that Yoshi had the pin and had the belt. Just a great match.

A quick note about the new announcer Byron Sexton. He fitted well on ECW and I think we will see him evolve and make a decent partnership in the land of extreme
