The ECW intro video hits before Christian vs. Zack Ryder is plugged as Abraham Washington heads into the arena for his show!. He firsts thanks Tony for the intro then thanks the crowd as a massive “applause” is shown on the tritontron.
He brings up Sheamus who is dressed in a weird outfit and Abe puts on some sun glasses and mocks Sheamus for being very very pale before asking Sheamus why he is pissed at Shelton. “Two weeks ago, Shelton stole the victory after I did all the work” Sheamus says before telling Abe that where he is from, you take an eye for an eye and this brings out Shelton Benjamin.
Shelton asks why Abe hasn’t been cancelled before he turns to Sheamus and saying that in America, there is a thing called “Teamwork” and when Shelton won the match, the team of Shelton & Sheamus won. Shelton tells Sheamus he has Sheamus’s family tree and when its shown its includes Ronald McDonald and this pushes the “Celtic Warrior” over the end which leads to a brawl which Abe’s security breaks up.
We jump to the back and see Yoshi Tastu heading to the ring for his match which is up next!

We are back and so is Katie Lea as she is at the side of her brother Paul Burchil who is facing Yoshi Tastu in the first match of the night.
Paul Burchill vs. Yoshi Tastu
They lock up with Paul getting the up hand by picking the wrist and following a shoulder block in which both men stay on their feet, Yoshi uses his speed to get Paul on the outside and joining him on the outside via a springboard. Yoshi rolls Paul back into the ring and climbs the turnbuckle which leads Katie to climb on the apron and this allows her brother to knock Yoshi off the rope and hit a massive Fish man suplex off the top rope.
Paul keeps in control and uses a bubba bomb/full nelson combo and Yoshi runs the ropes to break the hold and get the match back into his hand. Yoshi starts kicking Burchill left, right and centre before doing a massive springboard heel kick to the face of Burchill. Paul takes control ,levels Yoshi and climbs the ropes and drops his massive knee across the face of Tastu but it only gets a 2 count. Paul stands up and is wondering how to beat Yoshi but this will not be happening as Yoshi kicks Paul in the face for the 3 count.
Winner : Yoshi Tastu
Zack Ryder is back stage and he promises he will become ECW champion tonight

We are back as the WWE Hell in the Cell PPV card is run down
In the back, Regal is walking along and finds his opponent for this weeks Superstars Goldust and tells Dusty that he will beat him on Superstars.
The highlights from Smackdown are shown before we head back to more adverts
They lock up and both do a shoulder block which has no effect so they lock back up and this time Christian knocks Ryder down and gets a 2 count. Ryder stars to beat down on the ECW champion but Christian gets the upper hand by Hurricanining Ryder to the outside then spring boarding to the outside.
Back in the ring, Christian gets a count before climbing the top rope but doesn’t get to show what he has in mind as Ryder picks Christian ankle and gets a 2 count as we head to a break once again.

We are back as Christian gets back suplexed but Christian fights with a massive picture perfect dropkick which leads to both guys on the apron and Zack pushes Christian off the apron into the steel steps before bring him back in the ring and getting a 2 count.
Christian starts to mount his comeback but is cut off by a massive knee then hot shots Christian across the ropes before going back to the body attacks. The ECW champion starts to fight back by flap jacking Ryder then hitting a reverse DDT and climbing the turn buckle and attempting a drop kick which is blocked but Christian gets back in control by hitting another dropkick as the crowd get behind him.
Christian attempts the Killswitch but Ryder pushed him to the outside only for Christian to return to the ring with a drop kick followed by a springboard elbow and hitting the Killswitch on Ryder for the 3!
Winner and still ECW champion, Christian!
After the match, Regal walks out and states he will have a title shot soon which leads to a brawl as we go off air
Another week, another decent ECW but there is one thing I disliked which I will get to later in my thoughts.
The Abraham Washington is slowly growing on my as a decent segment as I’m starting to see that they only use it to progress feuds to the next stage as seen tonight between Shelton & Sheamus. They used the time well and how can you not love a segment with Tony Atlas laughing in the background like a mad man then seeing a picture of Ronald McDonald?
Yoshi Tastu is one of the most over guys on the roster and I think he could be moved up the card and even start challenging for the belt when a heel holds it. Paul Burchill is a decent guy to have on roster as he can put on decent matches and if pushed the right way, I could see him main event ECW
Kozlov & Jackson like to squash those poor Jobbers which wont push them as a decent tag team so they need to go over to SD/Raw to wrestle the likes of Hart Dynasty or Crimetime if they are going to be a big time tag team
The main event was awesome and I thought Zack was going to win the strap tonight and when he didn’t, I was a little disappointed as we will now end up with the Regal/Christian feud again which whilst it’s a good feud, if we see it again and again it may become an over killl
Overall, a pretty decent ECW this week and a decent show to watch,
Ranking B
