The ECW intro video hits followed by fireworks as we are welcomed to ECW where we are less then a week away from breaking point! Christian &Tommy Dreamer vs. Kozlov& Jackson is plugged.
"Stand back, there’s a hurricane coming through" hits as Hurricane walks down to the ring to face his rival of the past few weeks Paul Burchill.
Hurricane vs. Paul Burchill
They circle the ring before Paul backs Hurricane into the corner where they exchange a few blows before hitting a cross body from the top rope. Hurricane locks in a headlock but Paul slips out and starts beating down Hurricane but Hurricane fights out and locks in the body stretch. Burchill fights out and hit’s a back suplex for the two count. Paul Burchill goes for a chin lock which Hurricane attempts to fight out only to be hit with a clothesline.
Katie looks on as Paul hit’s a running double knee into Hurricane before hitting a back breaker across his knee. A USA chant fills the arena as Hurricane goes for a school boy only to be hit with a cloth lines by Burchill which gets a 2 count. Paul runs at Hurricane who low bridges him to the outside before joining him via a cross body. On the outside, Burchill hit’s a Pella kick as we head to the break.

We are back with Hurricane in a chin lock as the crowd try to will him back into the match which happens when Paul attempts a shoulder block only for Hurricane to move sending Burchill into the ring post. Hurricane jumps on Burchill before climbing the top rope and cross bodying Burchill for a 2 count. Paul attempts to climb the ropes only to get cut off before joining him on the top rope. Paul hit’s a "bam bam slam" aka power slam from the top rope before Irish whipping Hurricane who out of no where it’s a Hurri-canrania.
Katie Lea climb the ring apron which causes Hurricane to be distracted but still managers to move out of the way of a on coming Burchill who runs into his sister which allows Hurricane to hit the "Eye of the Hurricane" for the 3

We are shown last weeks stare down between Christian/Dreamer and Regal’s round table
Savannah is in the back and she is with Tommy and Christian. Dreamer puts over the fact that ECW has been with him for 20 years to which Christian adds they are taking a stand to stand up for the ECW superstars past and present and will show tonight as well as at Breaking Point that no one can run rough shot over ECW

We are back with Shelton Benjamin heading to the ring for a tam team match and his partner is Sheamus. Their opponents are Yoshi Tastu & Goldust
Shelton Benjamin & Sheamus vs. Goldust & Yoshi Tastu
Goldust and Shelton lock up with Shelton going for a wrist lock which ends with Shelton backing up following a hip toss by Goldust. Shelton backs Goldust into the corner and tags in Sheamus which leads to Dust tagging in Yoshi who kicks any part of Sheamus he can. He soon gets cut off by a massive cloth lines by Sheamus and Sheamus tags Shelton in to beat down on Yoshi more. Shelton goes for a chin lock which leads to Yoshi reversing and attempting to tag in his partner which finally happens after he rolls away from the hands on Sheamus.
Goldust goes on a roll only to be cut off by a massive knee by Sheamus who is laying in wait in his corner and Shelton tags himself in by tagging Sheamus back and pinning a knocked out Goldust and this match is over
Winner: Sheamus & Shelton Benjamin
After the match Sheamus confronts Shelton about the tag & pinning Goldust so this leads to a massive brawl between the two as the crowd chant "Let them Fight!"

Zack starts this match by beating down on poor Rory with kicks and punches before sling shooting him into the bottom turn buckle and hitting a running boot to the face of his opponent, This match soon ends as Ryder hit’s the Zack Attack for the 3

The Breaking Point card is run down
In the back we see Tiffany talking to Tyler Reks before they are interrupted by Regal and his Roundtable. He asks why Christian & Tommy Dreamer weren’t punished for last weeks attack with Kendo Sticks. Tiffany says she would have done something but Regal and his Round table attacked them weeks prior so its fair game. Regal promises to win the ECW belt at Breaking Point,

We are back as Regal and his Round Table head to the ring for their match with Tommy Dreamer & Christian
Kozlov & Jackson vs. Tommy Dreamer and Christian
Kozlov & Christian get into the ring and circle each other with Kozlov locking in a waist lock before running down Christian with a massive shoulder block. They go back to the stare down where Kozlov hit’s a massive right hand before tagging in his partner and Christian does the same.
Dreamer starts to throw punches only to get body slammed by Big Zeke before going to the ropes to rest witch doesn’t last long as Zeke starts to charge at him. Dreamer low bridges Zeke sending him to the outside and Christian is tagged in and hit’s a cross body to Zeke who doesn’t full down so Tommy jumps onto Zeke which forced him to full down as we head to a break

We are back as Dreamer is pinning Zeke but before long he is flat on his back after being flattened not only by Zeke but by Kozlov then to add insult to injury he gets flattened by both of them. Zeke starts to beat down Dreamer in his corner before tagging in Kozlov who does the same before hitting a belly to belly suplex and going to the waist lock on the mat. Kozlov backs Dreamer into the corner and putting him on the top rope but Dreamer fights back and hit’s a flying clothesline.
Christian gets in the ring and starts hitting Kozlov with anything and everything he has before finally getting the big Russian down with a drop kick but Christian doesn’t get much of an advantage as his bigger openers get the upper hand with a massive head but to the stomach of Christian. Kozlov hit’s a belly to belly suplex and a fall away slam before tagging in Jackson who goes back to the submission into a double arm suplex.
Kozlov tags in and starts ramming Christian into the turnbuckle but ends up slamming his own head into the turnbuckle which gives Christian time to tag in Dreamer whilst Kozlov does the same. Dreamer starts running wild and ends up levelling Zeke and hitting a Bull Frog Splash for a 2 count as the pin in broken up by Kozlov. Christian & Kozlov brawl to the outside which leaves Jackson in the arms of Dreamer who is attempting a DDT but Regal grabs the ankle which allows Jackson time to recover and hit his standing Rock Bottom finisher for the 3 count
Winners: Jackson & Kozlov
After the match, Regal locks in The Regal Stretch on Dreamer before kicking Christian in the head as he tries to make the save and standing in the ring with his Round Table as we go off the air.

Another week, another ECW which was pretty damn good if you ask me. This Hurricane/ Paul Burchill feud is really starting to grow on me as both Paul and Hurricane are just gold in the ring at the moment. I think we will end up with a scenario where Paul Burchill will attack Gregory Helms and someone in the Hurricane outfit will make the save. Many people may have noticed when Hurricane returned backstage a month or so ago, he looked different and that’s because Helms was not the guy in the suite and if they decide to run with that angle it will be quite interesting
I liked the two tag team matches this week as they did the job of carrying on the respective storylines. I think Sheamus vs. Shelton would be an awesome feud as Sheamus is pretty much as hot as a rookie can be following his successful matches with Goldust and by stepping up to ECW ladder, we will see if he will succeed in the land of Extreme.
Now I said this last week and ill say it again, The Kozlov/Jackson tag team is awesome and I could see them catching the tag team gold within 6 months if they are booked right with Regal possibly holding the ECW title, I like the idea of this faction running around with the 3 to 2 people handicap and its just a matter of who from the ECW roster will step up to the main event to help out Christian and Dreamer.
