Backstage, Finlay and Hornswoggle entered the building and found Teddy Long dressed in green for St. Patrick's Day. Finlay said Horny has been celebrating all day. Teddy noticed Horny disappeared (no, not through a hole in a wall) and asked where he went. "Uh oh, we're in trouble," Finlay said with a smile...
The opening montage aired... Todd Grisham and Matt Striker introduced the show and hyped a live Dirt Sheet...
1. Shelton Benjamin and Mark Henry (w/Tony Atlas) defeated Christian and MVP in 8:55. Striker noted that all four wrestlers are in the Money in the Bank match. Shelton took control of the match when Henry headbutted MVP before the break. [C] After the break, Shelton continued to work over MVP until he tagged in Christian.
Christian brought good energy to the match by hitting his signature spots on Shelton. Henry tried to interfere, but Christian and MVP teamed up on him and also took out Atlas. However, Christian walked into Shelton's Paydirt finisher and was pinned...
The announcers introduced a clip from "12 Rounds," which premieres March 27... Backstage, Finlay searched for Hornswoggle. He approached D.J. Gabriel and Alicia Fox, who were dancing together while listening to their Ipods. They didn't know where he was, so they went back to dancing like idiots...
The WrestleMania Moments video focussed on WrestleMania 20...
2. Evan Bourne pinned Jamie Noble in 2:55. There was a nice little pause after Noble was introduced. Striker said this was the moment we've all been waiting for and then Bourne's music kicked in. Nice touch. Striker recapped Bourne's ankle injury, and Grisham pointed out that Noble went for the ankle to start the match.
A shot aired of Tyson Kid and Natalya watching the match on a backstage monitor. Bourne won the match with the Shooting Star Press. The announcers made a huge fuss over the Shooting Star Press and multiple replays of the move were shown...
Backstage, Finlay found Hornswoggle throwing food at Katie Lea Burchill...
Jack Swagger came out and said that as a service to the fans and because he's so good looking, he wanted to give them the pleasure of seeing the "two-time, two-time All-American American" in person...
Backstage, Tiffany pitched the idea of holding a Divas Night on ECW to Teddy Long. He liked the idea. Paul Burchill and Katie Lea stormed into the room. Katie complained that Horny threw corn beef and cabbage at her. Teddy told Burchill to head to ringside and assumed that Finlay would be right behind him...
At ringside, the announcers hyped the live Dirt Sheet for later in the show.
A Raw recap segment focussed on the Vickie Guerrero love triangle... Ring introductions for the Finlay vs. Burchill match took place...
3. Finlay (w/Hornswoggle) defeated Paul Burchill (w/Katie Lea) in 3:05. Finlay controlled the action and was temporarily distracted by Hornswoggle standing on top of the announcers' table. He motioned that he wanted the headsets. Fortunately, Striker didn't give them up. Burchill got some offense in, but Finlay hit the Celtic Cross and got the pin.
A WrestleMania video focussed on the Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels match.
John Morrison and The Miz sat in the ring with the Bella Twins on each side. Brie didn't look happy to be there. Miz referred to her as "Twin B." She stammered when Miz asked her why she and her sister were with them rather than the Colons. Nikki cut her off and said it's because they like winners. Miz and Morrison put on their colon masks and mocked Carlito and Primo.
The real Carlito and Primo came out and brought the Cabana set with them. The two teams bickered over which show it really was. The Colons issued a challenge for tag title unification match at WrestleMania 25. Miz and Morrison accepted the challenge. Primo tried to spit an apple at Morrison, but he hit one of the Bellas instead. The other Bella laughed at her sister, who responded by pushing her down.
Suddenly, all holy Bella broke out, as the two women wrestled on the mat until the men pulled them apart. Nikki left with Miz and Morrison, while Brie remained with Carlito and Primo.
