A video package recapped Tyler Breeze's win over Sami Zayn at Takeover to earn a future shot at the NXT Championship. It continued and showed him dragging out the match due to his career-threatening hand modeling accident. He said it's time and it'll be the era of gorgeous. A graphic aired hyping tonight's main event for the NXT Title… The opening video played…

In the arena, The crowd chanted "NXT" before Bull Dempsey made his way to the ring. A replay showed Dempsey and Rawley beating The Mechanics two weeks ago and hyped the upcoming match as a first round match in the ongoing tag team tournament. Mojo Rawley was out next. The old-timey theme took over the screen and ragtime filled the air as The Vaudevillians made their entrance. As usual, the crowd was completely into the duo.

1. The Vaudevillains vs. Mojo Rawley and Bull Dempsey in the first round of the Tag Team Tournament. The crowd chanted "That was manly" before Bull and Mojo went to work on Aiden English. English backed Mojo into the corner before taking him to the mat with a hammerlock. English took a bow before tagging in Gotch who did squat thrusts while maintaining the grounded hammerlock. Bull tagged in and began to wear Gotch out with repeated elbow drops. Mojo tagged himself in and Bull wasn't happy. It led to Mojo taking the rolling senton from Gotch and the Swanton from English for the win.

The Vaudevillains over Rawley and Dempsey in about 3:05 to advance in the Tag Team Tournament.

The graphic revealed that Amore and Cassady will face The Vaudevillains next. In the ring, Bull Dempsey helped Mojo to his feet and then dropped him with a short-arm clothesline. Bull wore Mojo out with punches and boots to leave him laying. Bull stood over Mojo as the crowd chanted "Thank you, Bull." Bull left the ring, but changed his mind and re-entered the ring where he planted Mojo with the Bulldozer. The segment ended with the crowd chanting "Bull…"

Backstage, Sasha Banks approached Bayley and asked who she thought she was. Bayley answered that she's Bayley. Sasha said Bayley is crazy if she think's she'll get the Women's title before she does. Bayley said Sasha needs a gug after getting dumped by her best friends, but she won't get it from Bayley. The two squared off and will settle it in the ring… [C]

Back in the arena, the commentators discussed the main event title match before Bayley made her entrance. Sasha Banks was out next.

2. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks to determine the No. 1 Contender to the NXT Women's Championship. The crowd opened up with a "Sasha's ratchet" chant and both ladies went nose-to-nose before locking up. The crowd chanted "Bayley's gonna hug you" as Bayley rolled through and took Sasha down with a hip toss. Bayley went for a backslide but Sasha rolled through and wore Bayley out with some ground-and-pound, but Bayley returned it moments later. The two traded back-and-forth pinfall attempts with Oklahoma rolls, sunset rolls, and small packages which left the crowd applauding afterwards.

Bayley hit a dropkick, a running crossbody, and a running knee drop before repeatedly driving Sasha back-first into the corner with hugs. Banks took a break at ringside as the crowd chanted for Bayley. Bayley reached over the top rope but Sasha cut her legs out and took control back in the ring. [C]

Back from break, a replay showed a big double kneedrop that Sasha hit to get a two-count. Sasha stretched Bayley out with an arm and a leg in a modified bow and arrow and continued to wear Bayley down. Sasha got a two-count off a suplex and then hooked in a straight-jacket camel clutch. Sasha modified the hold into a straight-jacket surfboard before Bayley fought back. Bayley hit an elbow in the corner but missed a second and Sasha caught her with a running double knee strike, but Bayley fired right back with a hard clothesline and both ladies were down.

Bayley hooked for her finish, but Sasha drove her into the corner and hit another knee strike to the mid-section that sent Bayley to ringside. The crowd chanted "Sasha's ratchet" and she was briefly distracted enough to fall into a near-fall small package from Bayley. Bayley slapped the heck out of Sasha and looked for the Belly-to-Bayley once again, but Sasha reversed into the backstabber and floated into the crossface. Bayley rolled backwards and managed to secure a three-count on Sasha Banks to win the match.

Bayley pinned Sasha Banks in about 8:15 to become No. 1 Contender to the NXT Women's Championship.

Bayley celebrated on the stage before NXT Women's Champion Charlotte came out to face Bayley. She offered her hand and they shook before Bayley pointed at Charlotte's belt and signaled that she wants it… [C]

Back in the arena, the team of Sin Cara and Kalisto made their entrance. The duo of Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy were out to dubstep next.

3. Kalisto and Sin Cara vs. Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy in the first round of the Tag Team Tournament. The luchadors worked a bunch of fancy offence inclusing a rolling kick to the face and a tag team senton. Sin Cara came off the top rope with a double crossbody and hit a handspring back elbow. Sin Cara made the tag to Kalisto and they hit a double-team springboard dropkick/schoolboy bomb. Sin Cara took out the guy in the corner as Kalisto hit a sitout shiranui for the pinfall.

Kalisto and Sin Cara beat Blake and Murphyin about 2:45 to advance in the Tag Team Tournament.

Sin Cara and Kalisto will face Sami Zayn and Adam Rose in the next round… Backstage, The Legionnaires said that this tournament is a sham without them. They said that Amore and Cassady just call people Sawft and then insulted them in French… The title match was hyped up next… [C]

Tyler Breeze made his entrance for the main event. The Champion Adrian Neville was out next. Both guys got full formal in-ring intros.

4. Tyler Breeze vs. Adrian Neville for the NXT Championship. Neville got the better of Breeze in the opening minute-plus until he avoided a charging Breeze who toppled to ringside. Neville went after Breeze, but Breeze cut him down and Neville crashed to ringside. Breeze waited in the ring as Tyson Kidd made his way onto the stage and then stood on the commentary table as Breeze began to go to work on Neville in the ring. [C]

Back from break, Tyler Breeze had the upper hand as the commentators asked Kidd for a comment, but he ignored them and looked on intently at the action in the ring. Breeze continued his attack and settled into a front chancery. They worked the hold for the better part of a minute before Neville fought back to his feet, only to be disposed to ringside by Tyler Breeze. Breeze whipped Neville back-first into the ringsteps and tossed him back in the ring for a two-count. Of course, Breeze settled right back into the chancery.

Neville eventually hoisted Breeze off him with a flapjack and began to tee-off. Neville hit a series of kicks and a standing shooting star for a two-count. Neville attempted a springboard maneuver, but was met by a dropkick from Breeze for another two-count. Breeze used the running bulldog into the middle turnbuckle, but turned right into a superkick from Neville who collapsed into the near-fall and both guys were down. Neville rolled Breeze into position and went to the top rope, but Breeze jumped up and went for a superplex. Neville resisted it and sent Neville crashing to the mat with a sunset sitour powerbomb for a good near-fall. Neville quickly dragged Breeze into position and went back to the top rope, but Breeze rolled across the ring.

Breeze got a boot up on the charging Neville and hit a wicked diving tornado DDT that Neville sold like a million bucks for a great near-fall. The crowd exploded with "this is awesome" chants and both guys sold the effects of the match. The commentators reminded us that Tyson Kidd was at the commentary table as Neville and Breeze traded German suplex attempts. Neville avoided a charging Breeze and sent him into the ropes, catching him with a German suplex on the rebound.

Back on their feet, they traded forearm shots which led to Neville rolling to ringside. Neville took him oout with a tope suicida and both guys were down on the ramp as Tyson Kidd left the commentary table and got in close, but remaining on the other side of the barricade. Neville saw him and rocked him with a superkick. Back in the ring, Neville was about to hit the Red Arrow, but Tyson Kidd pulled his leg out and Neville crashed to the mat leading to the DQ.

Adrian Neville beat Tyler Breeze by DQ in about 14:00 to retain the NXT Championship.

Kidd wore Neville out with boots before Tyler Breeze came-to and confronted Tyson Kidd for costing him the title. The two brawled back and forth until Adrian Neville came back and tried to fight both guys. The numbers eventually overtook Neville and the heels wore him out until Sami Zayn hit the ring to even the odds. Zayn tossed Breeze through the ropes and dropped Kidd over the top rope before checking on Neville in the middle of the ring. The crowd let loose with "Ole" chants and Sami Zayn found himself holding the NXT title in the ring briefly until handing it to Adrian Neville and helping him to his feet to close the show.
