The show opened cold with Paige walking backstage with both of her titles when JBL confronted her. He gave a long explanation and said that the NXT Women's Championship had to stay with NXT, and therefore he was stripping her of the title. Paige flipped out and refused; citing how hard she worked to get there. JBL said there would be a tournament to crown a new champion and whoever won had big shoes to fill. Paige said she was willing to fight until the end, but she then handed her title over hesitantly and said "Let the games begin…" The opening video played…

Lana made her way onto the stage and introduced Alexander Rusev. His opponent was already waiting in the ring.

1. Alexander Rusev vs. Travis Tyler. Tyler went right after Rusev but Rusev crushed him against the ropes. Rusev hit his rope-hung knee thrusts followed by a fall-away slam. The crowd started a "let's go T.T." chant, but it was all Rusev. Rusev hit the swinging side slam and applied the Accolade for the win.

Alexander Rusev squashed Travis Tyler in about 1:30.

Lana entered the ring and simply said "Rusev hit; Rusev crush." Rusev followed up in Bulgarian as the crowd chanted "U-S-A!" A replay aired to close the segment… Backstage, Devin Taylor was waiting on the interview set with the party posse before Adam Rose was carried onto the set. He said he had two words for Camacho: "party pooper." He invited Camacho to become a victim of the Rose Experience. He suggested that Camacho not be a lemon, but be a Rosebud…

In the arena, Charlotte and Sasha Banks made their entrance. The commentators checked in before Emma made her entrance… [C] Back from break, Paige had already made her entrance and the match was underway.

2. Paige and Emma vs. Charlotte and Sasha Banks. The crowd chanted "Emma-Emma-Emma Oi-Oi-Oi!" The babyfaces hit a double suplex on Charlotte and things settled down with Paige firmly in control of Charlotte. Emma tagged in but Charlotte was able to land a monkey flip on her feet and make the tag to Sasha. The heels established control over Emma as the crowd repeatedly tried to rally behind her.

Charlotte settled into a figure-four necklock on Emma. Emma managed to bridge up and get a near-fall; forcing Charlotte to release the hold. Paige made the hot tag and hit her short-arm clotheslines on Sasha. Paige looked to apply the Scorpion Cross Lock, but Charlotte kicked out the back of Paige's knee. Moments later, Charlotte hit her flipping cutter and scored the pinfall…

Charlotte and Sasha Banks beat Emma and Paige in about 6:00.

Kidd began to fight back and wore Ryan down with a series of kicks. Kidd hit a slingshot guillotine leg drop for a two-count of his own before settling into a front-facelock.

Ryan fought up and pushed Kidd onto the apron. Kidd tried to springboard into the ring, but Ryan caught him in a gorilla press and slammed him to the mat to take control. A short time later, Kidd hit a diving blockbuster and scored the pinfall.

Tyson Kidd defeated Mason Ryan in about 3:20.

Renee Young interviewed Tyson Kidd on the ramp and Kidd said this was his rebirth. He said NXT was the place to be, which started a big "NXT" chant. Kidd said with more eyes on NXT, its his time. He said if you fight, he'll brawl. If you fly, he'll soar. He said NXT was the platform for his ultimate opportunity… [C]

Back in the arena, Angelo Dawkins made his entrance wearing a backpack and Beats around his neck. Tyler Breeze was out next.

4. Tyler Breeze vs. Angelo Dawkins. Dawkins shot in and took down Breeze as the commentators touted his amateur abilities. Breeze snapped, fought back, and took control. He hit a stiff soccer kick to the back of Dawkins for a two-count and settled into a chinlock. Breeze continued his attack before he finally lifted Dawkins off the mat and hit the Beauty Shot for the win…

Tyler Breeze pinned Angelo Dawkins in about 2:00.

Afterwards, Clay attacked Neville backstage and a video showed referees pulling Clay away… Back in the arena, Corey Graves made his entrance. [C] NXT Tag Champions The Ascension were out next. Sami Zayn made his entrance to a good ovation. WWE Tag Champions The Usos made their full entrance and the main event was underway.

5. The Ascension and Corey Graves vs. The Usos and Sami Zayn. Viktor thought he was in control until he ran into an Uso uppercut, and subsequently tagged out. Graves and Zayn squared off before Graves tagged out to Konnor. Konnor took control of Zayn and then brought Graves back in. Zayn fired up instantly and went right after Graves, causing him to tag out once again.

The babyfaces established control over Viktor for the next several minutes with frequent tags and had full crowd support. Shortly after the four-minute mark, Jey Uso ran into a hard clothesline from Viktor who dragged Jey to the heel's corner and Konnor went to work. [C]

Back from break, The Ascension were still in control of Jey Uso as the commentators mentioned that Corey Graves was keeping himself fresh. Moments later, Graves tagged in and got a two-count off a gordbuster and a running elbow drop. The heels continued to dominate until the nine-minute mark when Jey reversed with a sunset flip and a hard right-hand. The heels continued to narrowly prevent him from making the tag.

Jey made the hot tag a short time later and Jimmy came in on fire with Samoan drops all around. He dropped Viktor with a superkick and then crushed him in the corner with the running hip attack. Unbeknownst to Jimmy, Graves had tagged in and hit his front chop block. He looked for Lucky 13, but Jimmy reversed into a small package. Graves kicked out and Sami Zayn tagged himself in. Jimmy caught Graves with a shot and Zayn came off the top rope with a diving crossbody for a near-fall.

Zayn connected with his Blue Thunder Bomb for a good false-finish, with The Ascension breaking up the pinfall. The Usos took The Ascension out with clotheslines to ringside before Zayn hit the Helluva Kick on Graves in the corner. Zayn and an Uso hit tandem diving planchas onto The Ascension at ringside, while the other Uso came off the top turnbuckle with a big splash onto Graves for the win.

The Usos and Sami Zayn defeated Corey Graves and The Ascension in about 12:00.

The show closed with Sami Zayn and The Usos dancing together in the ring to celebrate their win…
