We see footage of Dixie Carter with the roster in the Impact Zone. She says that it is time for a change. There have been a lot of great things that have taken place, but it is time for a change. She says that some people might have differing opinions, but she expects them to support her 100%. She says that when you question her, you question the company. She tells everyone that you can support her, support the direction of the company, or you can do otherwise and look for some place else to work. She asks everyone to step it up because it is their time to move up to the next level.

The Main Event Mafia are already in the ring and Kurt has the mic. He says that he is dressed for battle. He reminds us that he usually preaches to everyone in a suit and tie talking about the wonders of the Main Event Mafia. Tonight is a special night because he faces A.J. Styles. He is not here to talk about A.J. He wants to talk about the one year anniversary of the greatest group of men to be assembled as one. Bound for Glory will be their one year anniversary. Bound for Glory is the biggest pay per view of all. Kurt says that he wants to make sure that his warriors are ready. Kurt says that he came out here for them. Kurt reminds Kevin Nash that he is the Legend’s champion because he is a legend.

We start off tonight with a look at the problems between Matt Morgan and Kurt Angle. We are going to have women’s tag titles. Bobby Lashley will be with Dixie Carter tonight. We see A.J. Styles and Sting arrive. Lauren asks A.J. about his retirement situation. A.J. points out that he has his gear and he is ready to work. Sting says that he smells success. Kip James comes out and he asks to park Sting’s car and Sting says that he doesn’t have to park anyone’s car. Kip says that he had that same car when he was over.

We see footage from earlier today when the Main Event Limo arrived with Eric Young emerging with Kurt Angle. Apparently there is a deal between the two factions.

The Main Event Mafia comes to the ring and Kurt Angle has something to say. He says that someone was trying to make a name for themselves last week at the expense of the Main Event Mafia and TNA Management. When you cross the boss, it is not good for anyone. It is not good for ratings, business, or that individual. Angle says that as the godfather of the greatest force in wrestling, there is a severe price to be paid. Angle tells Lashley that they had an agreement and for some reason, Lashley took a great big dump on that agreement. Angle wonders why Bobby would do that. He says that people do stupid things for no reason. Angle says that the Main Event Mafia does not deal with people like that and he wants Bobby Lashley to come out, or they can go find him in the back.

We start off with the man of few words from Victory Road as Taz makes his way to the ring. Taz gives a history lesson and he mentions that he wrestled for a little promotion called ECW and during his time, he sustained some career shortening injuries that prevented him from competing and performing in front of everyone as a wrestler. That was cut short for him and then he spent some time calling hundreds of matches in the WWE. Taz says that there was a little bit more that he could do. Taz says that he turned on TNA and he sees the raw and untapped force. Taz says that it took him back a decade. He saw the second coming of Taz. What he saw was Samoa Joe.

Mick Foley comes to the ring to start off this week’s show. Mick says that he feels a bit naked without the title belt over his shoulder. He says that nobody wants to see Foley naked so he is going to do his best to get the TNA title back on his shoulder. Foley says that there is so much more at stake because as the TNA Title goes, there goes TNA. Mick says that if Kurt holds on to the title, the company goes one way. Mick says that if he wins the title back, it goes another way. Mick says that he has a few favors for Kurt Angle. He wants Kurt to meet him in the ring one-on-one.

Mike Tenay had a chance to talk to Kevin Nash and he says that Nash might be one of the most controversial ever. Tenay talks about Nash and Hall going to WCW. Nash talks about being on the road 300 days as the champion. He says that he barely earned 7 figures. He says that Bischoff offered more for half the time. Nash says that everyone would ask about their bonuses and it turned from who had a good match to how much they got paid. Nash says that he is here for the money even though he still loves the job.

We start off with a bunch of balloons and streamers in the ring. Then we see Mick Foley come to the ring with Earl Hebner, a clown, and his security. Mick says what a difference a week can make. Mick says that he found his smile and it is a happy day for all wrestling fans. Mick tells Earl Hebner that he suffered mostly soft tissue damage. Mick says that he has a few special guests before the man of honor. A.J. Styles comes out as well as Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle.

Jarrett's music played and he headed out to the ring.

Jeff admits having a short fuse the last few weeks from having to run this zoo. Jeff points out that Eric got what he asked for, a shot in the ring to get to the King of the Mountain match. Jeff tells Eric that he has said it a thousand times that Eric is a great competitor, but Jeff reminds Eric that he won the match.

The opening video aired and Mike Tenay welcomed us to the show. Many wrestlers were standing in the aisle and Jim Cornette stood mid-ring. Cornette said one half of the main event at Lockdown would be Sting vs. Mick Foley for the TNA Championship. He then explained the rules of the Lethal Lockdown match and the importance of being the team captain. The last two men remaining tonight in the cage match will be the team captains.

Foley said his inspiration was Sting. Foley said he heard Sting tell Angle to pin Sting during the match and it upset him.

Jarrett said he's an executive in the company and is no longer an active wrestler. He added with a smile that the company found a "very worthy cause" to donate Angle's pay to.

The Main Event Mafia’s music played and they came out to the ring (minus Kevin Nash). Scott Steiner directed the cameraman to point his camera at a fan with a Steiner t-shirt on. Kurt Angle took control of the microphone and called the Mafia the greatest array of champions assembled in the history of the business. Sting was shown in a way that had him doubting the entire premise of Angle’s words. Angle showed a short video package of the carnage left behind by the Mafia in past weeks.
