- Matches for today's WWE Superstars include Hunico vs. Justin Gabriel, Alex Riley vs. Jinder Mahal and tag team action with Alicia Fox and Kaitlyn taking on Beth Phoenix and Natalya.
- Independent women's wrestler Mercedes Martinez confirmed to Diva-Dirt that she did not receive a tryout with WWE recently. The rumors came after another women's wrestler, Mercedes KV, was spotted in the crowd during a FCW TV episode. This is not confirmed either but it's possible Mercedes KV participated in the FCW training camp.
- We noted before that WWE NXT star Bray Wyatt (the former Husky Harris) suffered a torn pec and possible shoulder injury at a June 29th FCW live event. He will be out of action for about six months but word is that he may remain on NXT as a manager. WWE officials were high on him and his new gimmick.
