Update on WWE's Big Announcement Scheduled for Las Vegas, Plans for The Network

- PWInsider reports that WWE's announcement on January 8th in Las Vegas will most likely be about the debut of the WWE Network.

Their report indicates that WWE will do the network similar to the new venture by UFC and will be streamed via internet as opposed to being carried by traditional carriers. If WWE does in fact decide to do this, they would able to cut out large fees that they would have to pay the cable/satellite companies.

Another plus to streaming their network online would be that WWE would have complete control of the project, as opposed to having to fight with carriers for positioning on their boxes.
