- The promoters at Extreme Reunion announced that Axl Rotten fell asleep while driving home to Baltimore this weekend and is currently in a Pennsylvania hospital. Axl broke 8 ribs and his sternum in the accident.
- As noted before, The Miz will be starring in WWE's The Marine 3: Homefront. A press release issued yesterday mentioned that The Condemned director Scott Wiper will be directing the action thriller. Principal photography begins on June 11th in Vancouver and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will handle worldwide distribution on DVD, Blu-ray, VOD and digital download while WWE will promote the movie.
The Miz will portray a Marine who is forced to put his skills to the test when a radical militia group kidnaps his rebellious niece. The unrelenting soldier does whatever is necessary to save his niece and stop a terrorist attack masterminded by the militia leader.
- As seen last night, WWE announced that The Bella Twins had been fired. In reality, their contracts expired yesterday and they chose not to re-sign with the company The original plan had Kharma destroying them on their way out but the feeling backstage was that the plans changed after news leaked on the internet. As late as Sunday, they were still discussing doing the Kharma angle at Extreme Rules.
