- WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan will be the featured Superstars at next Thursday's WWE NXT tapings from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
After October 11th, the next set of NXT tapings at Full Sail University will take place on November 15th. The featured Superstar for those tapings is Big Show.
- Local independent wrestlers and former WWE Women's Champion Lita were in attendance for a comedy show in Chicago on Wednesday night featuring Colt Cabana and WWE Champion CM Punk. Around 100 fans came out. Punk told a few stories and an improv group later acted out scenes inspired by those stories. There was also a silent auction of wrestling memorabilia to benefit the Sam Thompson Memorial Fund. Sam was a wrestling fan who died back in June after battling stomach cancer and cystic fibrosis. Some of the merchandise included a Triple H plaque from WrestleMania 2000, a Scotty Goldman jacket plus signed t-shirts from Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler.
- Early reports from last night's CM Punk DVD screening in Chicago at the Portage Theater indicate a strong turnout. Apparently fans were camping out for a spot in line as early as Wednesday night. We will have more details from the screening later on.
