- The big tryout that WWE has planed for Los Angeles after SummerSlam will be a combination of local independent wrestlers and the athletes that WWE has recruited recently.

- The WWE RAW live event on July 27th in Jacksonville, Florida drew 6,500 fans for $220,000, the July 28th show in Albany, Georgia drew 3,800 fans for $110,000 and the July 29th show in Dothan, Alabama drew a sellout in the 2,500 seat set-up.

- WWE Tough Enough runner-up Luke Robinson has told friends he's moving on from pro wrestling and is focusing on his fitness business in Maine. Robinson isn't doing much on the independent scene because he's looking for $350 per appearance and has been bothered with shoulder problems.
