- Former WWE star MVP was backstage at Thursday's SmackDown tapings in Houston, Texas. As you can see, he's still wearing an eye patch. He noted on Twitter that he suffered a poke to the eye while doing jiu-jitsu training. MVP mentioned that we shouldn't jump to conclusions because he was just backstage visiting friends. Here he is with The Brooklyn Brawler:

- Triple H turns 44 years old today. Also, today would have been the 56th birthday of Matt "Doink the Clown" Osborne, who passed away recently.

- Big Show has been removed from WWE's current overseas tours due to concerns over his injury. As noted earlier this week, there's a plan in place for Show to team with Mark Henry against The Shield in a handicap match at SummerSlam. Show was supposed to return last week and set the angle up but didn't.
