Backstage News on The Rock Working More This Year, Bourne & Hawkins Updates, Booker T

- This week's WWE Classics Five-Star Match of the Week was chosen by Booker T and he picked The Rock 'n' Roll Express vs. The Midnight Express from WCW WrestleWar 1990. Booker told WWE.com:

"The reason I picked that match, is because those are the two tag teams that I grew up watching. Those are the guys who inspired me and my brother back in the day to become a tag team. When those tag teams were brought together, they performed at the highest level. I don’t think there will ever be two tag teams that will perform at the level that these guys did on a yearly, weekly, nightly occasion. Everybody talks about The Road Warriors being the greatest tag team of all time. But if it was my pick, it would be a tie between The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and The Midnight Express."

- The latest word on Curt Hawkins returning to action is that he may be back in time for the Royal Rumble but if not, then definitely early February. WWE officials expect Evan Bourne back in action possibly before WrestleMania.

- There are people within WWE who feel that The Rock working more dates this year is a direct response to internal criticism he received last year about working such a limited schedule.
