Backstage News on Sheamus' Brogue Kick, Orton-Ziggler Update, Jack Swagger's Return
By Marc Middleton
Sep 8, 2012 - 9:23:00 AM

- After taking some time off in the storylines last Monday at RAW, WWE will be keeping Jack Swagger off TV for a few weeks and he may return to TV as a babyface. Swagger is scheduled to appear on RAW when they return to his home state of Oklahoma on October 1st, the same night that some kind of festivities are planned for Jim Ross.

- As noted earlier, WWE is teasing Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton for the Night of Champions pay-per-view. Ziggler has demanded the match and apparently SmackDown General Manager Booker T will make his decision on next week's show, just days before the pay-per-view.

- F4Wonline.com reports that WWE planted the seeds for the Brogue Kick being banned on RAW recently when Sheamus won a match by submission with the Texas Cloverleaf. Now that Booker T has banned the Brogue Kick, speculation is that Sheamus will retain his World Heavyweight Title with the Cloverleaf. For those wondering, the ban on the Brogue Kick is just temporary for the storylines.
