- Today marks as the 25th anniversary of the death of Adrian Adonis. He and four fellow wrestlers died in car accident in Lewisporte, Newfoundland, when the driver allegedly swerved to avoid hitting a moose and, blinded by the setting sun, inadvertently drove into a lake.
