- The October 5, 2012 episode of WWE SmackDown drew a 1.74 rating, down from 1.83 the week prior. It marks as the second-lowest-rated first-run Friday show of 2012.

The program averaged 2.39 million viewers over the course of two hours, the lowest number for a first-run Friday episode this year. SmackDown has lost 19 percent of its viewership (567,000 viewers) since the first episode of September.

- A special guest on Monday's edition of Live with Kelly and Michael, John Cena joined Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan to help raise awareness for WWE's partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The official WWE website has released video of his appearance.

- As reported earlier, WWE Champion CM Punk twice struck a fan while he was in the stands at the conclusion of Monday's Raw in Sacramento, California. According to a ringside source, a fan shoved Punk, prompting the attack. Punk retaliated by backhanding a male, who may not have actually been the perpetrator. He then moved toward the person and lunged. WWE's cameras were cutting back and forth between Vince McMahon in the ring and Punk in the crowd when the incident occurred.
