- Festus returned to WWE tonight at the SmackDown tapings under a new name, Luke Gallos. Gallos was introduced by CM Punk and later helped Punk in a match. As previously noted, WWE had been planning to bring Festus back under Punk with the storyline that Punk helped Festus out of his mental situation and that's the storyline they're going with.
- Batista is the new #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship after defeating Kane at tonight's SmackDown tapings. Batista will face The Undertaker at the TLC pay-per-view. Here's the updated card:

Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Title
The Undertaker vs. Batista
