- There has been internal discussion in World Wrestling Entertainment about superstars and their associated Twitter accounts.

Concern has arisen from controversial statements on Twitter from the likes of Matt Hardy, Chavo Guerrero and Shad Gaspard in recent times.

Some part of management believe Twitter is useful as a promotinoal tool, while others believe there should be a blanket ban on all talents tweeting under their gimmick names. There has also been talk about stopping talent Tweeting after Midnight in order for WWE to not run into problems with sponsors and advertisers.
