Cena Interview: Where He'll Be In 10 Years, His Beef With The Rock
By Michael Bluth
Jul 6, 2009 - 11:21:35 AM

John Cena, who is currently on tour with the Raw brand down in Australia, was recently interviewed by Kylie Northover of TheAge.com.au. Cena put over WWE's popularity as a one-of-a-kind entertainment spectacle. "It's amazing that we've been so popular for so long. I think a part of it can be attributed to the fact that we appeal to people from all walks of life. WWE is the ultimate package — sports entertainment."

Cena spoke about watching wrestling as a kid, naming Hulk Hogan, the Ultimate Warrior and Shawn Michaels as three of his favorites growing up.

Cena was asked about his "rivalry" with former WWE superstar and Hollywood heavyweight Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Cena's made it clear in the past that he feels The Rock should show more appreciation to the WWE fans who made him a star and told TheAge, "I just felt that he could give something back to the WWE fans. I thought The Rock was great. I'd love to see him back in the ring just like every other WWE fan would."

Although Cena's own movie career is taking off, he does not see himself leaving the business entirely like The Rock. "If you asked me where I'd be in 10 years, I'd say promoting another film and looking forward to the next Wrestlemania."
