- Appearing this week on "The List" with Robbie E and Robbie T is Wes Brisco, who gets a chance to get on the exclusive list.
- An X Division Contender Tournament will start on tonight's Impact Wrestling broadcast, with the winner earning a shot at the X Division Championship at Genesis on January 13.
Tonight's tournament match will be Kid Kash vs. Christian York, with Kenny King facing Zema Ion next Thursday. The final bout of the tournament will take place at Genesis, with the winner receiving the title shot that same night.
- Jeremy Borash revealed on Twitter that tonight's Impact Wrestling will kick off with him announcing the 2012 Wrestler of the Year. The finalists are James Storm, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, Jeff Hardy, and Bully Ray.
- Promoting tonight's Impact Wrestling, Christopher Daniels tweeted, "IMPACT! TONIGHT! @FrankieKazarian & I discuss the finer points of haute cuisine & why we were blacklisted from Wrestler Of The Year honors!"
