Velvet Sky, who developed a rabid following courtesy of her skimpy attire and suggestive ring entrances, is scheduled to make her return to TNA Wrestling during tonight's live Impact Wrestling broadcast.
A one-time TNA Women's Champion, Sky parted ways with TNA Wrestling in July due to a contract dispute after being affiliated with the organization since the inception of the Knockouts division in October 2007. She said of her departure via Twitter, "It's what's best for me right now and I wanted to thank TNA and all the fans for their constant support in me. Stay tuned though."
There were people in TNA Wrestling upset that she had left, citing a recent music video she shot with Montgomery Gentry and the amount of time and resources spent developing her. Company president Dixie Carter had been trying in recent months to secure her return, with a contract reportedly finalized last month.
Sky kept busy in the mean time as she rekindled her "Beautiful People" partnership with Angelina Love at various independent wrestling shows and launched a merchandise line.
