Backstage News on MVP's TNA Status, Possible Dealbreaker for TNA and Wrestle-1, More
By Marc Middleton

- Regarding TNA's deal with The Great Muta and Wrestle-1 that was put together by Jeff Jarrett before he left the company, it's said that if TNA brings back Vince Russo then that deal could be in jeopardy because Wrestle-1 wants nothing to do with Russo because they feel he is racist against Japanese because of comments he made while working for WCW and how he booked Japanese talent in WCW and TNA.

- The Impact Wrestling tapings from the UK were being changed around as they were filmed.

- As of this past weekend, MVP still had not signed a contract with TNA. He did reach a verbal deal and has a deal agreement in place, but had not signed an actual contract. It's possible he's signed by now but word is that he appeared on TV without a contract.
