- According to a source within DirecTV, the company is confidant that a new deal with the WWF will become official within the next two months. We reported several days ago that there is a possibility that a deal will be agreed upon in time for WWF Unforgiven on September 23rd. - As Calvin reported earlier, plans are for Smackdown to go live this Tuesday from 8-10 PM EST. However, it remains unknown whether or not The Score, Canada's Smackdown provider, will air the show live as well. Credit: Slam! Wrestling - Last week's episode of WWF Smackdown! was the 58th highest-rated primetime network program for the week of August 20-26, according to Neilsen Media Research.
