    - Reportedly, Toronto Mayor Mel Lastman, Ontario Premier Mike Harris and WWF officials will make the official announcement that Wrestlemania 2002 will be held in Toronto, Ontario. As we have reported earlier, the announcement will take place at the "Thank You, Toronto" rally at Nathan Philips Square on September 3rd during the afternoon prior to the evening's Raw is War in the city.

    - Due to the inclusion of the SkyDome hotel, three of the venue's restaurants and reconfiguration of floor seating, the seating capacity of SkyDome for Wrestlemania will be over 70,000.

    - It is being said that two U.S. cities joined Toronto in the contention for Wrestlemania 2002. Reportedly, one of those cities was Tampa, Florida.
