    WWF Sunday Night HEAT
    August 19, 2001
Commentators: Michael Cole and Al Snow
Live in San Jose, CA at Compaq Center before SummerSlam

The show opens with clips hyping the Rock / Booker T match at SummerSlam. Drowning Pool's song, Bodies, plays in the background of a really nice video hyping the main SummerSlam matches. (Angle vs. Austin / Booker T vs. Austin / Y2J vs. Rhyno)

We go live to Cole in San Jose, CA at the Compaq Center prior to SummerSlam. Snow and Cole discuss how big the ppv will be this evening. The camera takes us to the cage hovering over the ring. We are taken back to the terrible personal dilemma DDP has put Undertaker and Sara in. We are shown early clips of DDP stalking Sara and a more recent one of DDP's shrine to Sara. They go into clips of Palumbo and O'Haire losing the WCW tag titles to The Undertaker and Kane. Snow and Cole discuss Taker having the chance to get DDP in the cage, where he has now place to hide.

Cole plugs Robot Warriors. It will be on prior to Raw Is War tomorrow night. God, err Mick Foley, will be the new host of Robot Warriors. Please tune in...

    -Commercial-

Cole and Snow plug Celebrity Deathmatch.

Cole talks about Steph being in Rhyno's corner during Rhyno and Chris Jericho's match. Snow jokes and says that Chris Jericho has made a point of making a boob out of Stephanie since he joined the WWF. We are shown clips of Chris Jericho having the apes throw a pie in Steph's face as well as the brilliant promos Jericho has given busting on her.

Backstage: Lita is on the phone. Kiebler walks up to Lita and asks her if she thinks the WWF girls have a chance tonight. Lita stands up and gets in Kiebler's face. Wilson hits Lita from behind. (note: keep practicing Wilson, you'll get it one of these days) Kiebler and Wilson knock Lita down. Ivory runs in and kicks Lita.

We see a replay of Kiebler setting up Lita.

WWF RC Cola Rewind of the week - Jeff Hardy running in and defeating the Hardcore Title from Rob Van Dam

Snow and Cole hype the Hardcore Title Ladder Match. They do not dwell too much on this match and we go to a recap of last Thursday's Tough Enough. Unfortunately Gregg has three herniated discs in his lower back and had to leave the show. (Gregg seems to be the first person that Al has shown any real bond with.)

Cole and Snow discuss Tazz showing his true colors by allowing to be the Alliance's whipping boy. We are taken to Smackdown! match with Angle and Tazz. They show the entire ending of the match where Angle calls Austin down to the ring. Angle puts SCSA in the Anglelock. And Team WWF and Team Alliance go to the ring and brawl. Snow says everyone is calling Austin a coward, but he IS the rattlesnake. He is capable of anything.

Backstage: Lita and Matt are shown with a Trainer. The Trainer is advising Lita not go to the ring tonight. Matt cautions her not to wrestle if she is hurt. He says it's not that big of a deal and she can be there for Jeff's Title match with RVD.

Backstage: Undertaker, Kane and Sara enter. Coach stops them to ask about the match. Taker says "Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. ' know what I'm saying." The three of them walk off.

Cole and Snow discuss Lita possibly not making it to the ring tonight. Snow says Jackie is tough and wonders if she is in fact, tough enough to face three competitors at once.

We are taken to more clips of The Rock and Booker T. They give us a nice refresher of Rock and Booker T's hilarious promos.

Backstage: Shane-O and Booker T walk into the Arena. Lillian walks up to ask Booker T a question. Shane asks her what in the heck she thinks she's doing. Did she not know this is Booker T the WCW Champion. Shane says that since she is there maybe Booker would like to say a few things to 'his people'. Booker and Shane both impersonate The Rock smelling. Booker T says "Finally the Book has come back to SummerSlam..." Lillian pipes right in with "Booker you have never been to SummerSlam. How can you say you have finally come back to SummerSlam?" Booker says "She did not just say that. She...did...not...just...say...that!" Shane pulls Booker along and says no she didn't.

Cole and Snow say we will see if Jackie will take on the Alliance Ladies alone. Snow says his money is on Jackie.

    -Commercial-

We come back to The Rock walking into the arena.

Snow and Cole take us to JR and Heyman at ringside and to the only match on HEAT.

Torrie Wilson, Stacey Kiebler, and Ivory vs. Lita and Jackie
Jackie runs to the ring and the Alliance members attack her. Molly Holly runs in and clears the ring. Molly jumps out of the ring and throws Ivory in. Jackie spears Ivory. Jackie punches the hell out of Ivory. Jackie puts Ivory in an anklelock. Jackie throws Ivory into each corner then gives her a bodyslam. Jackie throws her into the ropes and Ivory changes momentum. Ivory gives Jackie a neck breaker. Ivory throws Jackie into the ropes. Stacey grabs Jackie. Molly runs over and pulls Stacey up by her hair. The Ref interrupts Molly taking her back to her corner. Ivory and Jackie are back in the Ring. Molly gets the ref's attention again as Lita runs into the ring. Lita gives Ivory the Twist of Fate. Jackie covers for three.
Winner: Jackie, Molly Holly and Lita

Paul Heyman gets in the ring and says that everyone in the arena has been ripped off; that the Alliance was ripped off. This was supposed to be a three on two match. Ivory and the Alliance ladies challenge the WWF ladies to another match on Raw Is War tomorrow night.

We are taken to Clips of the buildup of the Austin and Angle match.

    We go to SummerSlam...
