- We reported yesterday about some interesting comments made by the Honky Tonk Man regarding a fight between Jerry Lawler and his wife Stacy "The Kat" Carter. Today, Lawler "responded" to those rumors on his website, KingLawler.com. In this commentary, Lawler gives a history of his relationship with Carter. Lawler does not really address whether he and his wife are having problems although he does hint that they are. He appears to end the commentary with a cliffhanger where he states, "I've never forgotten the answer he gave me when I asked him that question............I'll share it with you in my next update, stay tuned!", in response to a question he asked his mentor Jackie Fargo about why bringing his (then) girlfriend into the wrestling business will make her leave him. - Reportedly, a number of wrestlers who are rumored to be signed with MECW or are on the promotion's list of people they want, are stating that they are taking a "wait and see" approach to the company. The feeling is that if John Collins goes through with all the things he is promising, they will be happy to join the promotion, however, due to the fact that this is the wrestling business, they are skeptical that these promises will come true, especially given what Collins is promising. Apparently, the only talent officially signed by the company are Curt Hennig, Tracy Smothers and The Sandman. - You may have noticed that Sara had blood on her arm after Diamond Dallas Page grabbed her in last night's Raw main event. This is because Page hit his head somehow on his way to the ring, causing it to cut open. - Tod Gordon was backstage at Raw earlier in the day with his son to meet the wrestlers and visit some old friends. - The reason the Chris Jericho vs. Tazz match was so short is because both worked the match with sore backs. They were in the trainer's room for most of the day and were said to be in a lot of pain. Reportedly, a Philadelphia physician had to be called in to treat both men just so they could compete on Raw. - The feeling among many of the wrestlers is that Arn Anderson has been a very good road agent thus far in his WWFE stint. WWF.com put up an interview with him which discusses what it felt like to be backstage at a WWF event again, his health and his thoughts on the WWF's new "Don't Try This At Home" commercial which contains footage of Droz being carried out on a stretcher.
