Thanks to J-Paw for sending this report in! Thanks to DrJim138 for sending this report in! WWF came to Syracuse for the first time in 3 years, and they put on a pretty good show. I expected more but thats probably only cause I haven't seen it live in such a long time. All in all though, I'd say it was pretty good. I'll give you the results to the best of my memory. WCW Cruiserweight Championship - Billy Kidman vs Scotty 2 Hotty. Kidman pulls out the win with that reverse pedigree move... I think he's calling it the Kid Crusher... either way its a stupid move. I was hoping for a shooting star press, but what are you gonna do. Good match, by the way. Mark Jindrak vs. Perry Saturn. First, Terri comes to the ring and tells Perry shes gonna give him a second chance to choose between her or the mop. Perry comes down to the ring with mop in hand, and props it in the corner. He hugs Terri, and then Jindrak comes down. After a so-so match, Saturn gets distracted when Terri snatches the mop, and Jindrak rolls up Saturn for the win. Terri asked him to make a choice again, and he chose the mop. I might add that Terri looked really hot in person. WCW Tag Team Championship - Palumbo and O'Haire vs. Hardy Boys. When Jeff Hardy came to the ring, he had this huge hole in his shirt. He looked like an idiot, so I decided to tell him so. I had like 5th row seats, and his tag corner was right near where I was sitting, so I got out of my seat and got up to the barricade and started screaming at him for having a hole in his shirt. I mean this wasnt just any hole, he could fit his head through it and still have room to spare. Anyways, I just thought it was fun to yell at Hardy. We yelled at Palumbo a lot too... man he sucks. Anyways, Palumbo and O'Haire got the pin after Palumbo hit Jeff Hardy with the tag team belt. Hardcore Holly & "The One" Billy Gunn vs. Raven & Hugh Morris. This match wasn't too exciting, I mostly enjoyed trash talking Billy Gunn ("Billy your the one who gets progressively worse with every match" "The One whos gonna be out of a job in a couple weeks" "The One who sucks" so on and so forth) Anyways, Hardcore Holly hit that whiplash move and got the pin. WWF Light Heavyweight Championship - X Pac vs Justin Credible. For some reason, Justin Credible got HUGE heat. He started trash talking the crowd and he damn near got booed out of the building. X Pac came out to his usual X Pac sucks chant. He got on the mic, and he was recieved with an asshole chant. But then, something odd happened. He looked at Credible and said "They might be calling me an asshole, but you know what? They know that I am a WWF asshole." Believe it or not, the place erupted in cheers. Can it be true? X Pac got cheered? And not only that, he was cheered throughout the whole match. After a GREAT match, X Pac won with the X Factor. I never would have believed that X Pac would get cheered, or put on a good match, but he managed to do both. Good job X Pac. 8 Man Tag Match...WWF vs. ECW - Kane, Jericho, Regal and Tajiri vs. Rhyno, Tazz, RVD, and Mike Awesome. RVD was over huge here, lots of RVD and ECW chants. Very good match, huge pop for whenever RVD or Kane came in, and also a huge pop for the Tarantula. Match ended with a picture perfect RVD 5 Star Frog Splash. Other than X Pac vs Justin Credible, I think this was the best match of the night. IC CHampionship - Lance Storm vs. Albert. Lance Storm gets on the stick and cuts the shortest promo of all time before he is interrupted by the God awful X Factor music. After about 2 minutes of a pretty good match, Albert bumped into referee Nick Patrick and gets DQ'ed. Albert then Baldo bombed Nick Patrick. This was easily the worst match of the night... too short, and the stupidest ending ever. I really was looking forward to Lance Storm too, hes an incredible talent. 3 Team Elimination match - Edge and Christian vs. Dudley Boys vs. Kanyon and Meat. I know his name is Shawn Stasiak, but I hate him so I call him Meat. And boy oh boy did I let him have it during this match. His corner of the ring was right near where I was sitting, so I was screaming at him alllllll match. "MEAT, YOU SUCK!" "MEAT, GET OUT OF SYRACUSE! WE DONT WANT YOU HERE!" "YOUR RUINING THIS SHOW, MEAT!" Once, he turned around to look at the crowd, and I screamed "TURN AROUND MEAT! YOU SUCK!" and he turned back around pretty quickly. He looked pretty pissed. Well anyways, Christian eventually hit Kanyon with the Unprettier and Meat and Kanyon were eliminated. After they were eliminated, I ran up to the barricade where Meat was standing and I screamed at him from about 5 feet where he was standing, telling him how bad he sucks. He walked away like he didnt hear me but you can bet your bottom dollar he heard every word. Anyways, stuff happened and Edge hit one of the Dudleys with the buzzkiller for the win. Man, Gangrel hits that move so much better than Edge. Anyways, it was a good match, and I had a hell of a good time bashing Meat. WCW Championship - Kurt Angle vs. Booker T. This match was decent. Booker T went for that scissors kick and missed, is he using that for a finisher? I hope not. Eventually Angle hit the Olympic slam for the win. Pretty good match, crowd was really behind Angle. Biggest Pops Angle Jericho Kane Hardys E&C and what the hell...X Pac Biggest Heat Justin Credible Booker T Palumbo and O Haire Nick Patrick Storm and compliments of me... MEAT! One last thing.... after the show was over, I watched wrestlers exit the arena in their cars, and I saw Mike Awesome driving away.... WITH MEAT! I got right up to to his window and screamed at him as they drove away... I dont know if he heard me, but Im guessing that he probably did.
