OVW MAN sent in the following:

A great night of action took place as Ohio Valley Wrestling put on an event at Louisville,Kentucky's Six Flags theme park! The event had a mix of OVW,WWF,XFL & WCW talent! OVW's "Macho Man" was the special guest ring announcer! He came out & harassed the park's mascot which was some guy in a frog outfit. Macho kept calling him Kermit the Frog.

    Here are the results:

Leviathan lost to Brock Lesnar by DQ due to Leviathan throwing Brock over the top rope(which is an automatic DQ in OVW). These monsters put on a great match with alot of power moves. Synn was at ringside for Leviathan but never got involved.

WWF's Molly Holly defeated OVW's Victoria with a bulldog. The crowd was very much behind the gorgeous Molly Holly. Some great back-n-forth action.

WWF's Jerry Lynn defeated the XFL's Josh Wilcox. Josh played for the L.A. Extreme before becoming a wrestler. A great match with some great technical moves by Jerry Lynn.

WCW's David Flair upset the WWF's Dean Malenko!! David came out as the heel & was booed loudly just for being a part of WCW. This was a very loyal WWF/OVW crowd. These guys put on a good match with some great false finishes. Flair even reversed Malenko's cloverleaf submission into a pin.

Rico Costantino & the Prototype defeated Randy Orton & Bobby Eaton. A decent tag match with some funny comedy bits in between. I can see why Jim Ross says that Rico is ready for the WWF now!

The guy in the frog outfit comes out & gets in Macho Man's face & Macho challenges him to a match. The frog backs down & as Macho turned his back....the frog kicked Macho in the ass & ran away. This got a good laugh from the crowd which was mostly families.

MAIN EVENT: This was an 8 man tag match with the old NWA War Games rules! Team OVW(Nick Dinsmore,Rob Conway,Damaja & Mark Henry) defeated The Revolution(Machine,Mike Hard,Johnny Spade & Sly Skraper) by submission. Nick Dinsmore & Damaja made Sly Skraper submit to a double boston crab. 1 guy from each team started the match & then every minute another team member came in until all 8 men were in the ring. Those were the rules.

Macho Man thanked everyone for coming & signed autographs along with Molly,Malenko & Jerry Lynn. This guy is a dead ringer for the real Randy Savage. He's not as big or built but his voice & wardrobe are identical. He announced that OVW would be back next friday night with more surprises & action.

I'm looking for a tape of the October 21, 1996 Raw (the night after IYH : Buried Alive when Bret Hart made his return speech accepting Austin's challenge for Survivor Series). If anyone happens to have this Raw, I'm looking for it. Contact me at TVRdabomb@aol.com. I'll trade or buy, it doesn't matter to me.
