Main Event Championship Wrestling is making History in Evansville, Indiana

Last night (7/25) in Evansville Indiana, MECW - Main Event Championship Wrestling made a statement and created history. They successfully invaded a CCW Wrestling Show at the Evansville Coliseum.

At the beginning of the show the CCW Wrestlers came out to the ring and told
the audience that some MECW wrestlers had apparently arrived in a couple of
stretch limos. They warned them not to interfere with their show and if they
did there would be hell to pay. That was the moment Sandman chose to make
his spectacular entrance. He started beating everyone with his cane Sandman
style and handed out quite a beating even though he was considerably
outnumbered. The other guys eventually got the better of him and ripped of
Sandman's Main Event Shirt. At that moment Public Enemy along with Tracy
Smothers and Fidel Sierra came out to join him. It was quite a fight and even
though the MECW wrestlers were still outnumbered, they beat the hell out of
the CCW guys and finally cleared the ring.

That was when Buff Bagwell came out and joined them in the ring. He handed
Public Enemy their Tag Team Championship Belts and Tracy Smothers his Light
Heavyweight Championship Title. He introduced them and Fidel Sierra as
important members of Main Event Championship Wrestling and welcomed the fans
to the event. He made it also very clear that Buff still had the Stuff. Then
he proceeded to introduce the Main Event Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, Curt Hennig.

When Curt Hennig came out, the entire crowd just exploded, they went wild.
They just could not believe what had just transpired and what they had
witnessed and now all of a sudden there was Curt Hennig as well.

The Champion took over the mic, explained to the crowd that they had just
been part of history in the making. He made it very clear that this was just
the beginning, and lots more to come. He then pointed to the back of his MECW
shirt and told the fans to remember the companies motto. The Name Says it All!

It seems, that MECW has made quite an impact on the wrestling scene. They
made a statement tonight and I truly believe that this is only the beginning.
Apparently there were several news station that recorded this historical
    event.

That is all I got for right now, but as promised will keep you updated as
fast as things are happening. This is going to be one of the biggest things
to hit professional wrestling and you don't want to miss it. Remember the
    Name Says it All!

I work for a local newspaper outside of San Francisco and I was reading
a column the sports columnist wrote, and it was about the whole Jermaine
Dye trade. Well, in that article he noted that there was 1 new A's hat in the
dugout, and it was of Bret Hart! Apparently he was in the A's dugout for
their game. The columnist even likened the trade "fiasco" to something
you would find in the WWF. You can read the article here -
