- The wife of William Moody, better known as Paul Bearer, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Moody has posted a column at WWF.com regarding the diagnosis, which can be read by clicking HERE. The entire LoP staff would like to wish Moody's wife a full recovery. Matthew Sprague sent in the following: Torrie Wilson is featured on the cover of the September 2001 issue of Oxygen magazine, available now. Anthony Schilero from UltraWrestling.com sent in the following: Present feelings in the WWF locker room are that a few people are giving a great deal of credit to Paul Heyman as a result of his unselfishness in allowing Stephanie McMahon to take part in the controlling of ECW angle. Others are giving the credit to Vince McMahon for not being tempted into giving Heyman a major role that Vince would not have been able to back out of later. Some talent believe that putting Stephanie in the picture was a promising move. Some WCW and/or WWF developmental wrestlers are expected to be released, mostly due to the fact that the combination of the two federations along with ECW would put too much talent in one promotion. Strong rumors are circulating that the reason former WCW ring announcer David Penzer was ejected from an arena during a WWF live event is Penzer's heat with Stone Cold Steve Austin. This goes back to their WCW days together, when Penzer apparently made negative comments toward "Stunning" Steve Austin's ex-wife Jeanie. Penzer has denied that he was ever kicked out of the arena, stating that he left on his own terms when the backstage area started to get busy.
