Steve Austin comes to the ring followed by Stephanie, Shane, and Paul Heyman. Stephanie gets on the mic. I guess I don't blame any of you for being angry. The truth is a bitter pill to swallow. Last night the WCW/ECW alliance we shot the truth right down your throats. Shane, Paul, and I said that this alliance would dominate the WWF and we did. We said this alliance would defeat the WWF in the Inagural Brawl and we did. We said the WWF is going to die, and it is. last night the alliance struck a fatal blow. The WWF has begun to bleed. The bleeding can't be stopped. Chant all you want, you will not be able to stop the WWF from dying a slow and painfull death.

Heyman gets on the mic. I hate to say that we told them so. But we told you so. We told you that you were supporting the #2 brand in sports entertainment. We told you that you were supporting the losing team. We were right. You were wrong. We told you we were gonna rip the heart and soul out of the WWF. The #1 brand in this industry today is the ECW/WCW alliance. if you want proof of that statement, think about this. For the first time in history thanks to Austin the WWF championship has been taken away from the WWF and taken away from each and everyone of you. he who has the gold has the power. And he who has the power has the gold.

Shane gets on the mic. last night was only the beginning. The alliance is the new dominant brand in sports entertainment. A brand who's fans will be more intelligent and appreciative of what they are watching. A brand that promises to set new standards. Alllow me to introduce you to the man that will lead our alliance into the promise land...Steve Austin.

Austin gets on the mic. If there's one thing that Steve Austin is about it's appreciation. Over the last few weeks I found that I was no longer appreciated. Vince, every time I turned around you were hugging Kurt Angle behind my back. You were hugging him because you want to replace me. A hug used to be something special between me and Vince. But no longer. You are grooming Angle to be the next WWF champion. Every time I turn arouned you were on the phone talking to The Rock. Why you gotta call Rock? I'm right here standing in this ring. What's wrong with me? You don't need Rock or Angle. You need me but I'm no longer appreciated. The WWF fans are not gonna kick me around anymore. I jumped to a team that appreciates, respects, and loves me. I jumped to a team that will find me the best competition in the world. If there is one thing that I'm not afraid of it's competition. Kurt Angle comes out to the top of the stage. Look at you. You are pathetic. The last time I saw you, you were looking up at the lights getting pinned. When I left Smackdown last week you got your ass beat in the middle of this ring. You come out here and act lie you want a piece of me? I see the fear in your eyes. You are scared to death. You wanna piece of me you SOB? Come on down here hot shot.

Angle rushes the ring and the fight is on. Both men trade blows. Angle kicks Austin out of the ring.

Backstage, RVD is celebrating with the ECW guys. RVD says last night he showed Jeff Hardy why they call him Mr. P-P-V. Tonight he is going to show Matt Hardy why they also call him Mr. Monday Night.

WWF Hardcore Championship
Matt Hardy vs Rob Van Dam
Match starts off with a baseball slide by Matt. Matt sends RVD into the ring post. Matt hits RVD in the stomach with a ladder. RVD kicks the ladder in Matt's face. RVD with the rolling thunder for a two count. Matt hip tosses RVD off the top of the ladder. Matt with a leg drop off the top of the ladder for a two count. Matt drops the ladder across RVD's back. Matt sandwiches the ladder on RVD. RVD with a 5 star frog splash on the ladder with Matt sandwiched between it for the pin.
Winner: Rob Van Dam

Backstage, E & C run into the Dudleyz. Bubba tells them they had an impressive win at Invasion last night but it was not the main event. Christian says if it wasn't for Austin they would have got their asses kicked. Dudleyz challenge them to a table match. Booker walks up and take offense to Christian's comments about Austin. Christian asks Booker if he is related to Mr. T. Bubba suggest a 6 man table elimination match. E & C agree.

Backstage, Kanyon congratulates DDP on kidnapping Debra. DDP says it was all Steve and Debra's idea, all he had to do was drive. Kanyon says he singlehandedly won his 6 man match last night, thus the reason why he has his new shirt on - Who's Better Than Kanyon?

Intercontinental Championship
Lance Storm vs Albert
Lance Storm gets on the mic and says since the WWF title was captured by the alliance it would be appropriate if he wins the Intercontinental title. Storm is interupted by Albert's entrance. Storm posts Albert. Press slam by Albert followed up by a big splash for a two count. Scissors kick by Albert. Mike Awesome runs to the ring and distracts the referee. X-Pac runs out and attacks Awesome. Hugh Morrus runs out and hits Albert with the IC title. Storm superkicks Albert for the pin. After the match both locker rooms empty and we have ourselves a huge brawl. The WWF guys clear the ring after a Bradshaw clothesline on Jindrak and a Kane chokeslam on Kidman.

Backstage, Shane, Stephanie, Heyman, Austin, and Debra celebrate Storm's IC title win. Kanyon walks in and Austin wants to know what's on his shirt. It says Who's Better Than Kanyon? Austin says he is better than Kanyon. Kanyon agrees with that, no problem. Stephanie tells Kanyon to leave so he can get ready for his match against Jericho.

Backstage, Torrie tells Stacy that Trish is jealous of her breasts and that Jeff Hardy wants her.

Backstage, Regal tells Tajiri how bad Austin's turn really is. Regal says they need to start taking back what's rightfully theirs and it starts tonight with Takiri taking out Raven.

Backstage, E & C ask Angle if he will be their parter tonight. Angle says, "You bet your sweet asses I'm in". Edge says, "Did he just say sweet asses?"

Tajiri vs Raven
Match starts off with quick kicks by Tajiri. Clothesline by Raven. Back kick by Tajiri. Tajiri with a handspring into a back elbow. Raven throws Tajiri out of the ring. Raven with a russian leg sweep up against the security wall. Back in the ring both men trade punches. Tajiri with a missile dropkick for a two count. Clothesline by Raven for a two count. Tajiri puts on the tarantula. Tajiri kicks Raven in the head for the pin.
Winner: Tajiri

Backstage, Heyman tells Rhyno how important his match is tonight against Undertaker. If he can beat Undertaker it will be the final nail in the coffin for the WWF. Rhyno smiles, says Gore, and leaves.

Backstage, APA tells Angle what he did to Austin tonight took a lot of balls. They give Angle a beer as a present. Angle takes a sip. They encourage him to take gulps. Angle does, to no affect. Angle says, "This tastes pretty good. When did they start making this stuff?"

Undertaker w/ Sara vs Rhyno
UT with the tight rope walk. UT with a leg drop for a two count. Rhyno escapes a chokeslam. UT and Rhyno trade punches. UT counters the gore with a big boot. UT chokeslams Rhyno for the pin. DDP comes to the ring and stalks Sara. UT attacks DDP from behind. Sara repeatedly kicks DDP in the ribs. UT pulls Sara off of DDP. UT throws several right hands then picks up a chair. DDP grabs Sara's hand and pulls her right in front of UT's chair shot. DDP leaves the ring while UT checks on Sara.
Winner: Undertaker

Backstage, UT carries Sara and encourages her to wake up.

Coachman catches up with DDP in the parking lot trying to leave. DDP said he had nothing to do with that but to see the pain in her eyes really turned him on. DDP gets in his car and leaves.

Chris Jericho vs Chris Kanyon
Jericho gets on the mic and says even though Kanyon claims he was the MVP of last night's PPV he is also the most annoying ass clown. Who's Better Than Kanyon? Every Jerichoholic in the arena is better than Kanyon. Kanyon runs oout with Jericho waiting and the match is on. Jericho posts Kanyon. Multiple suplexes by Jericho for a two count. Flapjack powerbomb by Kanyon for a two count. Kanyon with a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Chops by Jericho. Kanyon with a top rope fameasser for a two count. Jericho counters a superplex with a headbutt followed up by a missile dropkick. Flying forearm by Jericho. Bulldog by Jericho followed up by a lionsault on Kanyon's knees. Kanyon hits the flatliner for a two count. Jericho ducks the enzeguri and locks on the walls of jericho for the submission.
Winner: Chris Jericho

Vince McMahon arrives to the arena in a limo.

Vince McMahon comes to the ring. I suppose congratulations are in order for the WCW/ECW alliance for their victory at Invasion. I'd like to remind them that their victory was only one battle. I am confident that the WWF will win many battles and eventually win the war. Tonight I am gonna drop a bomb. I'm gonna lift the suspension of a certain WWF superstar. Tonight I'm gonna reinstate The Rock. Just because I wanna reinstate him doesn't necessarily mean he will come back. If he chooses to come back it will not be because of me but in spite of me. I have a challenge for you Rock. Should you decide to come back, can you still bring it? Can you still layeth the Smacketh down? Can you still raise the people's eyebrow and drop the people's elbow? Do you still consider yourself the people's champion? Are you still worthy of being called the most electrifying man in sports entertainment today? Don't listen to me Rock, listen to the fans. Can you hear it Rock? On behalf of the millions and millions of your fans, come back Rock because we once again want to smell what you are cooking.

Backstage, Angle enters Vince's dressing room. Vince smells beer on Angle's breath. Angle says no, he came here to ask Vince something. Just so you know I'm all in favor of Rock coming back but you need someone special. What you need is a leader. You need me. A person who has been in the olypics and won the gold medal. A man that has the 3 I's. You need a man with intensity that has the ability to tear any guy from limb to limb. Vince says Angle might be right, but he don't know. Vince says actions speak louder than words. Angle says Vince is absolutely right. Angle shoves Vince against the wall and says if he wants action he will get it.

Billy Gunna nd Big Show are shown live at WWFNY. They talk about how they can't respect. They agree that they need to make the WWF give them respect. They decide on what food they will order and Show takes a shot at Gunn by saying he might order some bitchcakes. Gunn takes offense and Show has a fat ass.

Backstage, Torrie tells Jeff his match was spectacular last night. Torrie wants Jeff to practice spanking her with the paddle. Trish walks up and says, "Paddle this bitch", and attack Torrie. Jeff pulls them apart.

Trish kicks Torrie in the chest. Trish with a top rope clothesline. Trish with an elbow drop. Trish misses a spear and falls out of the ring. Trish chokes Torrie from the top turnbuckle. Trish gets the paddle off the pole. Torrie dropkicks Trish in the back. Torrie grabs the paddle and whips Trish in the ass for the win.

Backstage, Shane tells Booker and Dudeys that Angle needs to go through a table tonight.

Booker T and Dudleyz vs Kurt Angle, Edge & Christian
Angle clotheslines Dvon. E & C double team Dvon. Bubba kicks Edge off the ring apron. Bubba sends Edge into the ring steps. Booker with a back kick to Edge. Bubba chokes Edge on the ropes. Dudleyz flapjack Edge. Bubba misses a top rope splash. Christian with with a backbreaker across the knee on Dvon. E & C double suplex Bubba. E & C bring a table in the ring. Bubba tosses Edge out. Dvon low blows Christian. 3D on Christian through the table for the elimination. Edge comes off the top with a double clothesline on Dudleyz. Bubba drops Edge across the ropes. Bubba brings a table in the ring. Angle pulls Bubba to the outside. Edge spears Dvon. Booker slams Edge through the table for the elimination. Triple team on Angle in the corner. Booker with a knee drop on Angle. Whassup headbutt on Angle. Dudleyz bring another table in the ring for Booker who sets it up. Angle suplexes Booker. Angle tosses Bubba and Dvon out. Angle with a suplex on Booker. Angle sets up a table on the outside. Angle with an overhead belly to belly suplex to Dvon on the table but it did not break. Angle tries it a second time and it breaks. Dvon is eliminated. Booker with an axe kick on Angle. Angle slam to Booker on the table but it did not break, again! Angle tosses Bubba to the outside. Angle reverses an irish whip and puts Booker through the table for the elimination. Bubba knocks the ref out by accident. Nick Patrick comes out as the replacement. Angle slam on Bubba, Patrick moved the table out of the way at the last second. Angle puts the ankle lock on Patrick on the announce table. Austin runs out and attacks Angle. Back in the ring Austin gives Angle the stunner.Bubba powerbombs Angle through the table for the final elimination.
Winner: Bubba Dudley

APA, Kane, and Jericho come out to make the save and Austin runs away.
