Smackdown rating, WWF to buy ECW assets, Heyman’s bankruptcy, more

    -It looks like the WWF are close to forming a deal to purchase the ECW assets from the HHG Corp/ECW bankruptcy case. The trustees have been in contact with the WWF's legal team, and it looks like the final agreement will call for the WWF to pay $250,000 for the assets, as well as $50,000 for using the trademarks of ECW, however that payment will only cover them to use the trademarks of ECW up until July 31.

    -Paul Heyman has filed for personal bankruptcy, with Heyman claiming $128,500 in assets, and $2,830,385.74 in liabilities.

    -The 7/19 edition of Smackdown drew a final 3.9 broadcast rating, down 0.1 from last week's show.
