RAW is WAR will be coming to Ottawa for the first time in four years. The Ottawa Sun reported on this in today's paper. I called Ticketmaster, and tickets for RAW will go on sale within the next week. They also said if you have purchased tickets for the September 1st show they will be honored for the October 15th RAW show. I admit I read the spoilers but I'd really wish I could have seen RVD's debut. They sometimes show a replay of Smackdown on Saturday, but it never has a consistant time slot. I'm going to Invasion but I sure feel deprived of getting even more hyped up for the PPV when I can't even see Smackdown. I'm sure a lot of highlights will be shown from this Smackdown at the PPV but it will leave Cleveland fans say when the hell did that happen. Chad Brown sent this in The Richmond Times Dispatched featured an article today on the current Invasion, and how it lacks major "star power." In the interview, Val Venis said that he recently had hip surgery, so that's why he has been out of action for the last couple of months. He told Joltin' Joe that he injured his hip years ago, and after many bumps, it finally start giving him problems. In order to get back in the ring, Val needed to have surgery on the hip. Just recently, he was given his doctor release, so he will be back when ever the WWF needs him. Val went on to say that once he returns, he will go back to showing the entire world that he is the single greatest athlete the World Wrestling Federation has ever seen. Also, when the interview came to a close, Joltin' Joe wished Val Venis luck in the future. However, Val responded to the comment by saying, "luck's for losers, I don't need it."
