Anyone sending in a report who attended please fill me in on that one as well, if there even was another match. Reader contributions sent in will be added to this report to fill in the blanks.
Ring crew changes the ropes and apron to Smackdown.
Lilian Garcia comes out to the top of the stage and sings the national anthem.
Michael Cole and Jim Ross come to the announce table for Smackdown.
Thanks to Justin Keating for sending this report in!
In the dark matches it was Kaientai defeating Chavo Guerrero and Gregory Helms after Taka hit the Michinoku Driver on Helms.
Then, Mark Jindrak defeated Jerry Lynn, but I cant remember how.
In the first match of Heat Shawn Stasiak beat Scotty 2 Hotty after reversing a cross body off the top rope.
The show was all around spectacular, and the crowd was really into it. Every WWF star got a big pop while all but a few WCW/ECW wrestlers got major heat. Booker T had some support, as did DDP. But RVD easily had the most support of all the non-WWF stars. Everyone popped with his every move. People around me seemed rather impressed by him too.
After the 6 man tag, Tajiri tried to mimic the Brothers of Destruction. When Kane's Pyro went off from the ring posts, Tajiri freaked out and fell on the mat. (Very Funny) Kane gave him a high five and he celebrated like a 2 year old. Then they all posed with the UT salute. Very funny. I think they had to reshoot the opening interview. I don't know why, but it was much different than the first. But it had those few similarities that I knew it was reshot, not another interview.
The crowd popped big time when Austin hit Vince with the guitar. They did also when he came out, but many were upset when he left after only a minute in the match. After the beatdown on Angle, many fans started throwing stuff in the ring. It seriously pissed off all the wrestlers in the ring, and it should have, it was uncalled for.
Biggest Heat 1) Any non-WWF wrestler besides Booker, DDP, and RVD 2) X-pac (Really the only WWF guy to get any heat 3) Tony Chimmel trying to plug merchandise
