As has been reported many times in the recent past, WWF storylines and plans are not set in stone. Today the WWF made another example of this by making adjustments to their schedule plans.

It was recently stated by Linda McMahon in a press conference that Smackdown will go live starting on August 16. That date is still in effect as well as the next week's Smackdown on the 23rd.

WWF is expected to make some kind of announcement next week regarding those two shows as an experiment. The August 30 Smackdown has been moved back to the Tuesday night taping. All of the September Smackdown's will be taped on Tuesday as well. After September there is nothing set in stone on whether they will be taped or live. The September 1 house show in Montreal has been changed to a September 4 Smackdown taping.
