Welcome back to the official column that supports Billy Bitchcakes! Well, maybe not, but I just had to say that. Another week of wrestling has gone by, well..you could say it hasn't, since HeAT hasn't ran yet, but no one watches that. Hm, quite the week of wrestling. So, uh, lets get to it. Oh, and before I start. If you e-mailed me last week, and it took me a while to reply back, it's because my mouse went poopy on me. Long story short, it shit the bed, I had to buy a new one, took a few days to buy one cause I'm a lazy ass. Ahem, onto the opinions. Hm, Smackdown! (And more exclamation points..and beyond!) seemed like a great show. Damn it. Well, other then complaining about Direct T.V *too late* I'll just say it looked like a good show. I wonder what Tom will have to say about it? I bet it'll be something like this; "Well, Smackdown was good, blah blah blah, my ass hurts. I'm from England, where we have to wait a few days before RAW and Smackdown come on. Blah blah blah, Wig-gay doesn't get Smackdown, haha." Or, I could be wrong, hm. We'll have to wait and find out. Edge won KOTR. Just like I said. Yes, now I'm going to brag. *Wiggey brags about how good he's at picking the KOTR.* To sum it up, I rule, you know it. *Cough* Ok, in all seriousness, I was actually happy Edge won. I wouldn't have been happy if Kurt Angle won. Yes, he's worked hard, he's a great wrestler. But, he's all ready won, he doesn't need the crown of King of the Ring, again. An Edge v.s Christian match would have been decent too. Either way, I'm glad Edge won. Too bad he had to fight Billy Gunn his first RAW as KOTR champ. Ugh. I don't think the match was horrible, but it wasn't great. I'm guessing Billy Gunn will probably move down to WCW soon. Also, I remember reading a few weeks back that Zakk Wylde will be doing a new Stone Cold Steve Austin theme. I think that's a great idea. Zakk is a huge wrestling fan, and it should work out. He's an awesome guitar player too. But, I wonder why. Maybe because the Disturbed theme gets people pumped up too much? Either way I can't wait for the new theme. That is, if the WWF doesn't bail on it. Anyone remember when HeAT was going to have bands perform on it? Whatever happened to that? I thought it wasn't a bad idea, but that seems to have been dropped a long ass time ago. Oh, ya, forgot to talk about Booker T. Well, if you didn't know by now, Booker T has done a few run in's now. It seems like the WCW invasion is on now. I find it really cool. I don't see how someone couldn't like this. I mean, the WWF doesn't have to put on a good show, but they still do. I will admit, they are looking for ratings, and the quick fix, but it's still interesting T.V. It's about damn time too. They all ready have had a few loops in the storyline though. For example, Bradshaw explains to his pack of jobbers who have nothing to do, that they have to beat the asses of WCW wrestlers. So, what happens? Well, Booker T comes out, beats down Vince, then what? It takes 'em a decent time to run down. But, I won't complain. I'm not really going to do much opinionating on it yet, I want to find out how it goes first. Oh, and about Tough Enough. Yes, that Darryl guy lives around where I do. Funny thing is I read an article about him the paper, and he said he didn't really care if he was a wrestler, he just wanted to get on MTV. So, ya, I can see why the WWF would cut him right away. Big Baby. Mr. Chris Benoit sucked it up, and finished his match at King of the Ring. It turns out he injured his back ..or neck..but, either way, it was really bad, worse then first expected. He'll be out for six months. Damn. He was just finally peaking as a wrestler too. Man, I can't wait till he comes back. Should be interesting how the crowd reacts to him. I was on my AIM name last night, I think it was last night anyways, and someone asked me my opinion on Mike Awesome winning the title. I first thought how brutal that powerbomb he gave to Rhyno was. The Hardcore title match on RAW, in my opinion, was one of the best I've seen in a long time. Both, Test and Rhyno, took some huge bumps. Especially Rhyno taking the powerbomb on a ladder! Oh ya, back to Mike Awesome winning the belt. I think it's a great idea. I figure, why not? The Hardcore title doesn't really have any credibility. Lets see what Awesome can do with it. Maybe him and Rhyno can do a little ECW stuff for the crowd? Either way, it's pretty interesting. YO! Lars Ulrich, Read 'Dis! Sorry, I have no idea where that came from..or what over came me. Well, I don't got much to type about anymore, wrestling is kinda slow, I'll roll out Band of the Week! If you are a metal fan, and have no idea who this band is. You need some help. Yes, Fear Factory. One of my all time favorite bands. I'll be waiting for the, "You suck along with your mainstream hardcore music" e-mail. Anyways, I got their new CD Digimortal digipak about a month ago. I must say, it's awesome. Now, my favorite CD this year is the Downer CD, but this CD is RIGHT behind it. Sure, I got the Tool CD too, but I enjoyed Digimortal 2x as much as I did Lateralus. I'm sure I'll get a few e-mails saying I'm nuts, and Tool is godlike, but it's true. Maybe I'm just too big of a Fear Factory fan? Either way, if you have no idea who Fear Factory is, I suggest you get into them. Burton C. Bell has an incredible range for his vocals. He can sing that death metal stuff, the hardcore metal, Metal, and melody. He can do it all. Dino Cazares is probably the fattest *No, not Phat, I mean FAT, he's a blimp* guitar player around, but he blends in perfectly with the music. One thing I really dig about Fear Factory is Raymond Herrera on drums. He makes the band all that much better with his bass drumming. Either way, Digimortal is Fear Factory's best CD to date. If you are a metal fan, a Fear Factory fan, or just like good music, I suggest you pick up Digimortal. But, if you see the Digipak or a Special Edition of the CD with the 4 bonus tracks, I suggest you pick that up. The bonus tracks are amazing as well. Ok, enough of the jibber jabber. I the songs I recommend are a mixture from all of FF's CDs, so enjoy! My recommendations are: Linchpin (my fav FF track to date!), Demanufactured, Edgecrusher, Scape Goat, Full Metal Contact, New Breed, Digimortal, What will Become? For more info on Fear Factory, go to, http://www.fearfactory.com Well, another column in the books. Not my best column, not my worst. I will say this, many people are complaining that wrestling columns are going down in quality, etc. I will say that some wrestling columns are going down in quality, yes, I can admit that. But, it's mostly because there isn't much to write about lately. Around 6 months ago, there was ECW and WCW. Now, it's just the WWF..and WCW sorta. Ya, well, so if you see a drop in quality, I'm sorry. But, if any of you guys can think of some good idea's to write about, e-mail me. Any suggestions are welcomed. My e-mail address is Wiggey@lordsofpain.net, if you want to talk to me on AIM, my name is Refusingtojob so drop me a line there. If you download some Fear Factory songs, check out the Pharm. OH! Before I go, if you're good at making banners, e-mail me some banners. I need some more. My banner maker has been slacking off, right Shane? You little bitch. So, if you got any funny pics you can put into a banner, and have some type of funny witty thing..or just..something funny, e-mail 'em to me. Until then, see'ya next week. ~Wiggey That weird guy next door
