- Chris Benoit underwent surgery today in San Antonio, Texas for his injured neck and, by all accounts, the surgery was a success. However, recovery time for the surgery will be at least six months. Benoit had the option of going for a "quick fix" surgery, but that would have required another surgery in a year or two. Benoit is currently resting in hospital and has already met with a therapist. Footage of the surgery as well as an update on Benoit's condition will air on this week's WWF Sunday Night Heat at 7 PM EST on MTV.
