- Chris Benoit is suffering from a blockage in his C7 vertabra, a condition which is causing the numbness in his right arm. Benoit will undergo surgery next week and if Dr. Youngblood, Benoit's surgeon, will make an incision in the front of Benoit's neck, he is expected to be out approximately six months.
