Hello everyone! I got a good column today! For once, I wasn't that busy, had enough time to sit down and get a good column down. Pretty cool, huh? I got the normal, and some other stuff. I got an awesome Band of the Week. I suggest you all check 'em out. Lets get to the column. First, I must say I'm not really too happy with the WWF. No, not for storylines, not for too much T.V time for a wrestler. It's because they released Christian York and Joey Matthews. If anyone ever saw these guys in ECW, you know they are a great team. They did have a Hardy Boyz look to them, but, nonetheless awesome team. I don't understand why the WWF let them go. They could have been the future of the WWF tag division, well, they would have put even more stock into it! I just don't understand why they did. Such an awesome team. *sigh* Well, we finally have the King of the Ring brackets in. Rhyno, Christian, Edge, and Kurt Angle. Hm, hard to pick a winner in this bad boy *more later* but it should be an awesome tournament. Considering the last two were really lacking. I mean, when Billy Gunn wins the King of the Ring something is wrong. But, if Billy Gunn didn't win, guess who was next? X-pac! The Internet's poster boy, X-pac. Well, maybe not. But, it also seems like Edge and Christian are turning face? First I thought they were going to break up, then this? Strange stuff. But, the tournament is really heating up. Should be awesome. Sometimes I wish I got Smackdown, then other times I'm glad I don't. One reason I'm glad I don't get it, is, mostly because the Big Show has a match on it. Now, I'm not going to rant about the Big Show, and rant..and rant. But, the guys is extremely boring. He's EXTREMELY slow in the ring. All I've heard from Jim Ross is, "GOOD GAWD!!! THE BIG SHOW!! DON'T PISS HIM OFF" and it's just getting old. It's the same stuff each time he comes out to wrestle. I mean, sure, the guy could probably kick anyone's ass and tear them apart and smear their blood all over him self. But, this is wrestling. The guy has to learn some moves, he's got so much power in him, and it seems like he isn't even putting in a half assed effort. Now, when I watch Chris Benoit, you can tell he's working as hard as he can, to make the match awesome. Then you see Big Show..slow as well, you know. He's just slow. He's boring. I'm beggin' the WWF to get this guy to push him self has hard as he can. It's just getting extremely annoying. The Tajiri skit with Stone Cold on RAW was great. Then later on Austin would say, "You know that Tajiri had some damn good idea's." LOL! Awesome stuff. I must applaud the WWF writing staff for putting in lots of effort in the new Stone Cold character. He's turning into a woman hating, all I care about is the belt, champion. It's just really going well. I didn't know how the heel turn would go, when he first turned, but it's paying off. Plus, this is also getting Tajiri some T.V time. Works out for both of them. Just thought I'd fit that in. :) THE KING OF BADA-BING! Hey..DDP was the stalker. Cool. I won't type to much about it, since it's been typed 2934802384038 times, but hey. It was cool. I didn't catch Tough Enough. I wanted to, but I forgot all about. A local guy from where I live was supposed to be on the show. His name slips my mind. I think it was..something..Cross. He's a black guy, about 6'9, 310 pound. I think it was Daryl Cross? I'm not sure. Either way, I'm going to try and catch this show next week. One thing I'm waiting for is the ratings for the show. The show has been hyped up a lot. Plus, I'm not a fan of those, "reality" shows much. Tend to get boring and repetitive. But, Tough Enough is different, in a way. Either way, I'm waiting to find out what the show is like and the ratings. We have new Tag Champions too. The Dudley Boyz are tag champions once again. Plus, it seems like they are heels now too. Maybe to counter the E&C face turn? Either way, should be interesting to see what the WWF does with them. With the Spike and Molly storyline going really well, it'll only be right for Spike to go against his two evil brothers. I'm guessing Spike might recruit some people to help him? Maybe the Holly's will come around and help Spike out? Maybe Spike will turn on Molly. Something is going to happen. Should be pretty cool stuff. One thing for sure is the Dudleyz were awesome as heel's in ECW. Too bad some people like, Tom Jizzgut, never got to see that. Right Tom? X-Pac v.s Jeff Hardy - Lightweight Title X-Pac..fighting for the Lightweight Title? Go figure. I thought he liked to fight The Big Show, and all those other people who are out of his weight margin? Um..hm. I don't see the X-Factor-Hardy feud ending any time soon. I see Jeff Hardy retaining, after Justin Credible comes down to help X-pac, but Matt comes down to count Justin's run in. The ending results is Jeff Hardy somehow retaining. Winner - Jeff Hardy Rhyno v.s Edge Hm, I'm really getting used to Rhyno in the WWF. And, if I had a choice, I would want Rhyno to win the match. But, it doesn't always work out that way. So, I'm going with Edge in this match. Even though I'd like Rhyno to advance, I just don't see it happening. Winner - Edge Christian v.s Kurt Angle Now, this could be the hard decision. Maybe someone from WCW will run down and cause Kurt Angle to lose? Then setting up Christian v.s Edge. But, I don't see that happening. I'm going with Kurt Angle to set up Edge v.s Kurt Angle. Should be a good match though. Winner - Kurt Angle King of the Ring Finals - Edge v.s Kurt Angle Hm, yes I think it's going to come down to Edge v.s Kurt Angle. Why? Well, just seems logical. Edge has been in the WWF for a long time. Sure, I'd love to have Rhyno win the tournament, but he hasn't really be in the WWF all that long. Should be a great match. Maybe someone from WCW will interfere? Either way I see...EDGE winning it. Yeup. Winner - And new King of the Ring, Edge Street Fight - Shane McMahon v.s Kurt Angle Is Shane McMahon becoming the next Foley? I don't mean Foley, I should mean..the next Foley..as in..bump machine. The guy can take some serious bumps. I see some WCW play here for sure. I see Shane McMahon winning it somehow. Maybe this will be the match that really puts over the invasion? Winner - Shane McMahon Triple Threat, World Wrestling Federation Champion match - Chris Jericho v.s Chris Benoit v.s "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Hm, interesting. I was thinking Chris Benoit actually had a chance. But, it seems like Benoit has a pinched nerve or something. Those things seriously suck. So, maybe we'll see a Jericho heel turn? I think it's more obvious then some people think. If you noticed, Austin doesn't really have a partner anymore. If Jericho were to turn, that'd give him a partner. Plus, Benoit and Jericho no longer have the Tag belts. Either way, I see Stone Cold retaining. Should be a helluva great match though! Winner - "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Ah yes, Band of the Week. One of my favorite parts to write. Also, I'll probably try and get a music column on a web site soon. I all ready have a few sites in mind I'm going to try out for. So, if you like my music opinions..suggestions, etc. If I get a column, I'll tell you guys about it. Should be interesting. Anyways, this Band of the Week just rules. When people ask, "What ever happened to just plain old Rock music" I have to look at them with a confused look. Because, Rock is still alive, it may not be the biggest Rock period. But, it's there. This band is an excellent example of a great modern day Rock band. Their full debut CD doesn't even have one 'cuss word, I don't think anyways. Which is always a plus. Anyways, the band is.. Yes, Full Devil Jacket. Pure Hard Rock, Rock, whatever. They just rock, period. Led by Josh Brown on vocals, from metal, to melody, he can do just about anything. The guitar playing isn't the most technical, but there are a few solo's. The guitar playing fits perfectly well with the music, so, it all works out. The sound is just so raw, and awesome. The guitar tone is amazing. The bass is decent, at best. Nothing impressive, nothing horrible. The drumming fits really good. Keith Foster keeps a good rhythm. Either way, awesome band. If you want some more of their heavier type songs download: Green Iron Fist, Wanna Be Martyr, D.M.F, Stain, Now you Know. Some of their more mellow songs are, Where did you go?, Cardboard Believer so check 'em out! More info at http://www.fulldeviljacket.com Well, that's another column in the books. Not the best, not the worst. If you want to talk to me on AIM, my name is Refusingtojob drop me a line! Also, I've been lookin' for stuff to download, and the recommendations are really low. So, if you guys want to recommend something, please do. Just remember, try to keep the songs under 4 minutes, no rap or punk, and the band name and AT LEAST 1 or 2 songs. Other then that, fire away! :) I need some stuff to download to find some future Bands of the Week. Thanks for reading, I'll see'ya guys next week. ~Wiggey Me + You = Nightmare
