    - Shane Helms was supposed to headline the Global Championship Wrestling card on July 19th in El Paso, Texas. For those wondering, Disco Inferno will be taking Helms' place at the GCW show.
The news that was previously here about WWF making their WCW wrestlers break indy bookings was removed because we found out there were flaws in the story confirmed by GCW management.

    - The WWF informed Memphis Championship Wrestling (MCW) that the promotion will be dropped as a WWF developmental territory. In addition to that announcement, the WWF announced that Christian York, Joey Matthews, the Mean Street Posse's Rodney and Joey Abs, American Dragon, Spanky and Shooter Schultz have been released from their WWF contracts. All are members of MCW.

    - Steve Bradley, Victoria, Lance Cade, the Island Boys and the Haas Brothers, the remaining WWF-contracted talent from MCW, will be reassigned to the HWA which will now be a part of the WWF's developmental system.

    - There are also reports that the WWF may drop UPW from their developmental system as well but no official announcement has been made. Jim Ross had stated in the Ross Report that major changes would be made in their developmental system and obviously, these changes are well underway.
